mcgyver meets command

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use command everywhere since they came out. I had an odd challenge with my Mom's hummingbird plates since the strip on the back didn't extend beyond the center edge on the back. I decided to stack the hanger strips and it was a great success! All I can suggest to folks who were unhappy with these products is that maybe they didn't actually follow all the prep steps. That's the only time I have had a failure in many years of all kinds of applications.

Fail!

I tried to hang a picture using these strips and it fell about 3 minutes after hanging. I followed the instructions implicitly. The only reason I can see for the fail is that the picture which weighs under 8 lbs. was too big and too heavy.
Now I have to replace the glass which broke. It is expensive non glare glass. I will have to repair the wood trim around the floor which was damaged when the picture hit it as it fell.
I am extremely disappointed and will not be using these products anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dont Bother

Bought a pack of these , large picture ones, yesterday for two very lightweight pieces. One lasted a few hours until it came crashing down and broke the wooden frame, chipping the floor, the other wouldn't stay put at all. Best to secure pictures the old fashioned way, telling when the instructions mention not to use them to hang anything above a bed!

Tore drywall right off.

Just bought the large Velcro hanging strips - hung my picture went to GENTLY remove it to change photos out of frame and it tore chunks of my drywall off!

terrible experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a large quantity of these because i had heard great responses when i got them and began hanging things after about a day nothing was still on the walls. some of my favorite pictures ruined. Even bought bag hooks was disappointed as well. Read the instructions and nothing was heavier than the strips said they could hold

Worked great!

I used these three years ago to hang a set of antique metal trays. They were hung on the same wall as our back door. The command hooks worked great and the trays never moved. When I decided to change out my Decour, the trees came down beautifully! Great product pier

Holds EVERYTHING on our walls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We aren't permitted to put nails in our walls at work, but have used these strips to hang virtually everything from a movie character standee to a bulletin board, a map, several mounted poster boards and even our Amazon Alexa! (for our work dance parties and quickly needed info)
