Poor product

I usually just use nails to put up pictures, but decided to give your large picture hanging strips, my mistake. I prepped the wall and put up a wooden picture holder which weighs about 3 pounds. It was up for about 2 weeks and today it fell off the wall of course pulling paint off with it. Now, I have to try to match paint to touch up the wall and I'll be using nails to put it back up. You need to reevaluate this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't last a week...

I bought these two weeks ago to hold up a large but lightweight (only about 8 lbs) piece of art. I used all six sets of them, and they're rated for 16lbs. I followed the instructions to a T and made sure the surface was very clean when I hung it. Within one day two of them kept coming off and un-sticking. Within the week, it fell down on us while we were on the couch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buy a nail instead

Dont waste your time with this product. Adhesive failed on back of a wood frame, and in some cases the painted wall. Rubbing alcohol will leave streaks in your painted wall. Leveling the painting can be difficult unless you have some help. I dont think that these would be along term solution, and the time to hang one picture could be long. Does this product have a shelf life? The backing was difficult to remove. So, unless your hanging something on a cinder block/concrete wall, or if your hanging something in a rented space where the owners say no holes in the wall, avoid this product.

FANTASTIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these things for everything. The thing is you have to clean the surface really well and use extra strips if you're concerned about warping or weight. I have some really heavy pictures hung up and they've yet to fall. But I also used 6 pairs on each picture just to be safe and I knew the wall was warped so it was likely part would not stick. I have some frames that have been hanging for more than 4 years.

I have recently purchased your Command Picture Hanging Strip Large.
It did not perform as advertised/labeled on the box. Last night, the 2 sets of strip failed and the frame being held up crashed onto the floor. The frames were well below the recommended capacity.

Failing slowly one by one

I used command strips throughout my home for all of my frames. They were easy to use and do not leave damage or holes in the wall. However; they have slowly failed one by one over the last year. I have lost multiple frames because the strips fail (even with multiple per frame- well over the weight limit) and the frames fall to the floor and break. I have had to go through and take down all of my frames and hang with nails anyways.
