Even though we followed all the instructions the strips pulled the sheet rock off

These products don't serve the purpose. They might not damage the wall they are used on, but they loose contact in hot weather. I had three wall plates smashing down, and several pictures, broken frames and damaged wooden steps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

bad experience

Recently I bought 3M command large picture hanging strips for my canvas pictures set.The weight of each picture is 0.87kg. To avoid any hassle, my husband bought this hanging strips where the weight tolerate can be up to 7.2kg. I placed 4 strips onto the picture. The position of strips are followed the guidelines printed on the packaging. However, my canvas picture still falling off from the wall. Very disappointed on the product.

Hello - We are sorry to hear of the trouble! Generally, the wood and canvas material found on canvas frames are not sealed and can be too rough for the adhesives to properly bond. Doesn’t do the job

We bought these to hang two different frames (both 20x30 and definitely under 16 pounds), and put 6 strip sets on each frame just to be extra careful as I was a little skeptical. Within 10 minutes the first frame fell down and I immediately took the second down, as that one was over our bed and I didn’t want to risk it falling on us in the middle of the night. We are disappointed as we’ve used strips with success for smaller frames in the past, but they definitely don’t work for large frames. Waste of money.

i purchased these to hang 18 x 24 canvas photos which are very light weight maybe 2 or 3 pounds. 2 of the 4 I hung up fell crashing to the ground in less than 2 hours. I am now out the $8 for the strips and need to replace one of the photos which is damaged which is another $35.00 Thanks so much 3m

broke picture frame

i bought these about 2 weeks ago and they didnt hold,infact it broke the frame when it fell, concrete the dont work on

No more Arguing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love command strips! I started using them to hang all my pictures and Artwork and since I am very indecisive I use to move them around a lot. Needless to say, my boyfriend was not too happy to come home after work with a few more holes in the walls. With Command strips I can be as indecisive as I like and there are no more arguments over holes he has to patch! Thanks!

Great fix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought these to hang metal artwork. The hangers that are on the art work were hard to use nails with. We used 2 set of the large to attach it to the wall. It worked great. We will switch to these to hang all artwork and pictures in our home.
I would recommend this to a friend!
