Fantastic weight holding capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have large picture frames that are heavy and I love these for keeping them on the wall just where I have put them. I had no idea there were so many more products for canvas and more that I definitely want to check out from Command.

Used to be great...

Having lived exclusively in rentals for the past several years, I have loved used Command strips and hooks since they are easily removable when moving out. However, in the past year or so, both the picture hanging strips and hook styles I've purchased have failed. Lightweight frames and lightly utilized hooks have both fallen off walls not long after application. The adhesive is much weaker than it used to be - so much so that you could run your finger over it without much tackiness at all. It seems that many other users are having the same issue. Unless the quality improves, I won't be purchasing any more Command products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Complete JUNK !

I followed the directions to a T. I even added extra to hold a simple, small 3 pound MDF sign on walls that had been cleaned the day before and rinsed with water, so ther was NO residue, and yes it was dry! My sign fell off within an hour, and broke, along with ruining my molding that will now cost me a small fortune to replace. It wouldn’t even hold up a tin sign that was less than 1 pound! Every package I have purchased in the last year has failed. You must have changed something. I am done with your products.

Held for a little bit then fell

I hung something that was 7 pounds, it held for a little bit then fell which sucks because the item would’ve broken. Doesn’t work on heavy things

Bowed frame, unflat drywall

I found that this product was somewhat unsatisfactory when used with picture frames that are slightly bowed and or wall surfaces that are not flat. Once removed after securing the picture to the wall, it was very difficult to align the strips while at the same time assuring the picture is level and square with the surrounding features.

Does not hold as advertised

I was woken at 1:30am by the falling of the frame. It was a light weight wood. These strips are not as strong as they may have been in the past.
