I bought several sets of these hook & loop strips for hanging poster frames in my son's room. They only worked for the smallest and lightest frames. (Less than 22x36 plastic) Eventhough I used mutliple sets (as recommemded) for a frame that weighed no more than 5 lbs it fell off the door after only 4 days and the frame broke. The adhesive side stayed on the door but all except one gave away from the frame. The hooks stayed together but the adhesive pulled off.

Burn or throw away your hard earned money, anything is of more use than this product. Only use, if you have a particular dislike for the photo you intend to hang, if "smashed on floor" is your desired look please see picture for full details of correct place for this product

I was very worried given other reviews but it worked perfectly for me. I followed the directions exactly, cleaned wall with rubbing alcohol, applied strip, let set overnight before hanging item, and hung item the next morning. I found that it was easier to attach the two pieces together (ie. the photo to the wall) by simply using the side of my fist as a mallet and simply and firmly "popping" the picture on the wall. You can literally hear it "snap" into place. My items were up for one month (Christmas) and nothing fell. When removing, I started with the bottom of my photo and angled it up towards the ceiling, which slowly released the two velcro pieces. After that I carefully and slowly pulled the sticky part STRAIGHT DOWN until it was completely removed from the wall. I used about 30 total and not a single problem. Will be using these every Christmas. (sorry pictures are crooked because I took them down, then threw them back up quickly for a picture)
I bought this product after seeing the adverts and wanted to make a feature wall of all my family photos, so rather the hammering loads of nails into my newly plastered living room I thought these would be perfect.... How mistaken was I. They took all the paint off the wall and have needed to re paint. I will not be using these products again
I bought command strips to hang pictures in my apartment. I am getting ready to move to a new place so I began taking pictures off the wall. To my disappointment the strips left bubbles on the walls, and even tore the paint off in 3 places, despite moving them as per the instructions. Thanks to the command strips I will be responsible for damages to the wall. Would not buy this product again!

I bought these when I rearranged my living room. I purchased several packs to hang all my family pictures. I had trouble with 2 frames that fell quickly after putting them up. The frames and glass were fine so I replaced the strips on the frame since they didn't stick at all. Less than 6 hours later I had another picture fall off the wall. The frame or glass did not break but the frame did damage my brand new gas fireplace mantel (as in installed that day). I am very unhappy that I can not trust this product to hold very light frames. These frames probably weigh less than a pound. I am also very unhappy that I spend 1200 on a now damaged gas fireplace.

For any customer having trouble we would ask they please call our team at 1.800.934.7355 M-F 8am-5pm CT. I'm an interior designer on staff with a commercial entity. Our end-users are somewhat transient between multiple leased office site, so the use of the hanging strips is preferred over multiple holes for various changes in décor, etc. I have learned to follow the directions "to the letter" and when applicable, because of weight, use multiple hanging strips. My best result for a damage-free wall, is to apply the strips with the pull tab at the bottom. When its time to remove, be sure you're pulling downward as close to the wall as possible, rather slowly. When following these steps, I have drastically reduced the cost to repair & repaint walls.
I was so excited to try this product and it completely disappointed me. After 4 days my picture fell off the wall and the frame broke. I followed the directions on the package and everything.
