Can't connect monitors

Bought 5 of these USB-C docking stations for our companies laptops so they could connect two monitors at the same time using the VGA and HDMI connections and they don't work. The only thing that works is connecting a mouse of keyboard to it to use an external keyboard and mouse. Even tried connecting just one VGA monitor to it and it won't work nor just the HDMI connecting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No 4K 60 FPS support

It's 2021 and this is still only 4K 30Hz (HDMI 1.4 standard), most monitors are already at 2K 60Hz+ but this thing can only do 1080P 60Hz

Not compatible with some popular monitors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried this station both with my at home HP set up and my work Dell set up and several times I have to unplug and re-plug my monitors. I wasn't impressed with the connection. The resolution wasn't up to par and the connected display was pixelated and glitchy.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Targus USB-C DP Alt Mode Single Video 4K HDMI/VGA Docking Station with 100W PD Pass-Thru made hooking up and external monitor extremely easy for this not so tech savvy mom. I am now working from home and have two kiddos in virtual school so having easy options for multiple setups is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been working from home for months now and didn’t know I needed this until I saw the docking station. It was easy to hook up to my laptop and then plug in the additional cords. I had no issues with connecting my laptop to my monitors.

Wish he hadn't lost his job and was still using it. Hopefully it will be of use again when he gets his next job. If you need a workstation...get this one!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My laptop only has 2 USB ports so I was definitely in the market for an adapter that would let me use multiple monitors while still being connected to peripherals. This gets the job done! I love the small, compact design and have found that it is very easy to travel with. Easy hookup and no stability issues. It's exactly what I needed. Very highly recommend.
