very light weight, but it sounds really good. The keypads are touch pressure sensitive, so the harder you press the louder the sound is. Also I was surprised to find out theres a sustain button so i probably wont even need to buy a sustain pedal! Really happy with this purchase.
Nice capability, feel and function for first few months. Liked the ease with which default settings such as startup voice and touch sensitivity are configured. SADLY after a few months the touch sensitivity died for right half of the keyboard so we're left with a crippling lack of expression! Timely return/replacement problematic in a rural setting. NOTE other Casio keyboard experience w/WK7600 and CS160 has been excellent... lower overall rating is a result of uncertain durability - do not expect to so quickly lose my (even small) investments. This was gently handled in a nursing home environment - at this price point I thought it might work as an intro for children, but I maybe thought wrong.
Bought the 100 from Costco within a year random keys stopped working. Carefully cleaned and found no dust or debris. Which keys worked varied day to day. Finally concluded it is very sensitive to humidity (like a normal basement). Casio support is nonexistent. If you want to play for more than a few months, avoid these entry level keyboards.
I love learning and playing with this product. I love that it is easy and light to carry around. I recommend this to anyone who wants a keyboard to learn and play music.
This is an amazing keyboard by Casio. Comes with a semi-weighted and touch responsive keys that don't feel like toys. Fully recommend for beginners and intermediate level players.
Nice looking, light, easy to carry, keys feel great. A lot of cool tones. Some sound good, others, like the piano voices, sound very tinny and cheap. Sounds a bit better over headphones or external amplifier. I guess for $180, it's pretty good. Just don't expect a great sound over such small speakers.
Love this keyboard! I researched a lot for the best keyboard at an affordable price and I assure you, it didn't dissapoint. Best feature is the sensitive touch keys because it truly sounds like a real piano. You won't regret the purchase!
