Absolutely the best investment ever. I used to go to hair removal salons to get procedures done and would get charged $200-300 per session. My husband found Ulike and purchased it as a birthday gift for me and I did have my doubts about it. But just after 4 sessions on my legs I have literally no hair (coming from a very thick dark haired girl). I definitely recommend ulike for anyone wanted to start removal. Really happy with my results!

I have pcos. I am unable to wax due to skin sensitivity and have tried laser removal in salons before without any luck. I skeptically purchased this as a last resort— I was unable to tell whether all the reviews were real or if they were a marketing technique— but decided to try it. With consistency this actually works. After 5 weeks of using this every other day, the hair is almost entirely gone with just a few stragglers. I think the trick is to use the SHR mode— it flashes the laser twice (or seems to). While more painful (but manageable) this mode made a huge difference. I truly think this works better than purchasing laser removal sessions from a salon because you are treating the area much more often than every 3-4 weeks. After years of dealing with embarrassing facial hair from pcos this has been a life saver. My confidence has skyrocketed and I no longer hide my face when close to other people.

I had a couple of IPL sessions done at a medspa and loved the results for my face, redness, scars, acne, etc. I purchased Ulike to continue the treatment with the added bonus of using it on my body for hair removal! Great investment!

Mixed results, but still worth it

My main goal for buying this was to reduce underarm hair. After several weeks, that goal has absolutely been accomplished. For me, that was worth the cost alone.
However, I was also hoping to reduce leg hair and hair around the bikini line. I was less optimistic about this, since my hair is multi colored and some of my hair might not meet the guidelines for effective hair removal. My leg hair is closest to dark blonde. I have been seeing a reduction in hair growth in this area, not completely gone but resulting in smoother legs when shaving.
Finally, for my bikini line I am a bit disappointed. Some of this coarse hair has some red to it, so I wasn’t holding my breath. However, even the darker colored hair is stubbornly there. While hair growth is slower, it is still quite noticeable. With the amount of shaving required to continue each treatment, I find the skin increasingly irritated. After the results of my arm pits, I continue to persist to see if I can manage similar results.
As a side note, on my leg I had a dark (non raised) mole. I wasn’t paying attention, went over it on high, and I immediately felt some discomfort. After a few days, I noticed the pigment from that mole was completely obliterated. I know it is not the explicit stated goal of this device, but it was a nice side benefit to even out my skin tone a bit.
