New Scent

New scent to Soft soap with aloe, UGH! Not happy you did this. I'm not a fan of scented soaps, is the reason I use soft soap with aloe.

Terrible New Formula

The new scent is terrible. Plain and simple. Smells like awful, cheap, perfume that won't leave your hands. Viscosity is different as well. Now I have to search for a new soap. Why do these companies keep doing this?? Is it to save money? Some sort of brand "refresh"? It just doesn't make sense to me. The Soothing Clean Aloe soap used to be PERFECT. Please go back to the old formula!

Was perfect, now ruined with new fragrance

After having my first child 14 years ago I developed dry, cracked hands for the first time due to frequent hand washing. I was so thrilled to find Softsoap aloe vera, which has been the only soap my family has used since. Although I prefer unscented products, the scent was light and soap like. The formula was truly moisturizing and never dried out my hands. It was really tough during Covid to have to use other soaps due to high demand and short supplies. Sadly, the formula was recently updated with a “fresh scent”. It’s horrible! There are so many scented hand soap options available for those who prefer that option - Softsoap really should have left this formula alone as it was perfect the way it was. After being a loyal customer for 14 years, our family is now in search of a new unscented or lightly scented option. It’s amazingly difficult to find a hand soap that is both unscented and moisturizing. I really hope that softsoap will change back to the old formula, which really had a unique role in the hand soap market. I’m terribly disappointed.

New Scent Sabotages My Favorite Hand Soap

I am so sad! This has been my go-to hand soap for over a decade. I have very sensitive skin and get headaches from strong fragrances. I am not kidding when I say it smells like used laundry detergent to wash my hands after using the new formula. Also soap no longer foams. Unfortunately, the overpowering scent is a no go for me. I literally need to wash my hands with something else to remove the perfume.

New "Fresh Scent" is terrible

Anyone remember the Fiasco of New Coke? Same fiasco, different product! "Fresh Scent" smells like cleaning products. My hands smell like the solution Swiffer Wet pads soak in. The irony is I would wash my hands to get rid of that smell after cleaning my floors. If I want to smell like my kitchen floor, I will just use the liquid in the Swiffer Wet package to wash my hands.

End of an Era

I was horrified to discover that an unacceptable scent had been added to this hand soap that I have used for many, many years. I discovered that I am not alone by reading other reviews on this site. What's the point in changing a product that works beautifully especially for people who appreciate a light scent? My search begins for a new brand.

New scent for the aloe hand soap is overpowering

What were you thinking when you changed the scent? The new scent is way too strong. I can see you losing a lot of customers. As others have said, bring back the old scent please.
