New formula is the worst!

The new aloe clean soft soap formula has changed and been scented with an awful smell. This new formula leaves my skin dry and irritated and the soap has changed my body’s pH chemistry so much so that I don’t feel or smell as clean for as long as before with the old formula. At first I thought it was just a label change; however, now after reading many revolts for the new soap online, now I know something has changed. I demand they bring the old formula back. How could Colgate ruin a soap that was so effective and true. My stable go to is gone. Shame on you Colgate for changing what should have never been changed!

New Scent is Unpleasant!

I used Softsoap brand Soothing Clean Aloe Vera liquid soap exclusively throughout my home for many, many years. The product was simply perfect! It kept my hands moisturized through frequent hand washing and had the loveliest fresh, clean fragrance. I am so disappointed that the company has changed the scent. I have truly tried to adjust to the new scent, but I cannot. It does not smell fresh or clean to me. It actually leaves my hands smelling unpleasant. I was a dedicated loyal customer that must now move on. I am writing this review in hopes the company will consider going back to the lovely original clean scent one day.

Too Smelly

I used to love this soap because of it's mild fragrance. But then you went and changed the product. Those of us like to wash our hands before we eat would prefer to not be overpowered by soapy smells every time we raise a fork or spoon to our lips, or take a sip of coffee and smell its aroma instead of the stench of your Aloe Vera Fresh Scent Liquid Hand Soap!
I was lucky enough to buy several refills of the old version, but now that I've run out I'm annoyed enough to tell you that this new and improved product of yours is truly horrid. The smell is not just too strong and overbearing, it's stinky as well. You've lost yet another Soft Soap Customer.

Terrible smell, bring back old formula

I had exclusively bought this hand soap for many years because I am very sensitive to the smell of most other brands. I bought softsoap it in bulk during the pandemic. I wish I had stocked up on the old original formula. This new formula is TERRIBLE! The smell lingers on your skin and it is nauseating!

Awful new stinky smell!

I have used this soap for years. This new scent is awful!! It gives me a headache and it just plain stinks. Why would you change something that was great the way it was?

Give me the old formula please!!!!!

If I wanted a really "smelly" soap, I would buy the many thousands of others available. Give me basic unscented or lightly scented. I don't want my hands to smell like I dipped them in a bottle of perfume all day.

New Fragrance Horrible

Omg, soaps I have used forever are NOW unusable! New fragrance in soaps that were fragrance free or light scent have an awful fragrance that lingers and makes me itch now!!! Horrible! Cannot use anymore!! Bring back old formula please!!

Why change a good thing?

This "was" the only soap my family used. But no more, new fragrance is horrible. Drys hands and just bad. Looking for a new soap brand.
