New Scent Too Strong

(Please replace my recently written review with this more thorough one). I'm not happy with the scent at all. I've had to warn my mother who is very sensitive to scent to not buy any additional bottles. You've even altered my back-up soap of Milk and Honey. These changes seem like very poor decisions on your part. It's one thing to have a line of products that are strictly scented (for those who like scent) with essential oils which don't tend to bother people as much, but it's an entirely different thing to take lovely subtle scents and bump up their artificial fragrances many notches. I really liked the subtle scents of the Aloe and the Milk and Honey. PLEASE change them back!!! While I've got you, I've been wondering if you've altered the detergent strength during covid. I haven't been sure if the new dryness and patches of dermatitis (not normal for me) have been because of all of the handwashing (despite all of the lotion I've used in between washes) or if SoftSoap has also altered the cleansing formula at some point due to Covid. If you altered it, please change it back. If not, just ignore this paragraph but not the one above.

New scent not good for my family

This was the only brand and scent (soothing aloe) we bought for many years and loved it. Unfortunately, the scent has changed. Now my husband's hands can't tolerate it; his skin is breaking out, and neither can my son's eyes, he is constantly itching them. I'm sad to say we will have to find another soap for our home.

Terrible scent!
The old soothing aloe Vera was the very best hand soap ever! I have super sensitive hands and the old product was perfect! The new scent is strong and terrible!! It’s hard to find a great soap that is not antibacterial!

New Fragrance is Overpowering

I have always had an Aloe Vera Soothing Softsoap hand pump in the bathroom and one at my kitchen sink. I bought the refills in large quantities. As soon as I opened the new refill, the smell made my heart race. It's so strong and overpowering that I can't use it. I'm stuck with several refills. To the company people who decided to change an excellent product to something new with this awful fragrance...what were you thinking? Not everyone wants a highly perfumed soap. You lost a long time customer.

I loved the originals soothing softsoap. Been using it for as long as I can remember. Keep it in all the bathrooms and the kitchen. It was only type of soap that doesn't bother my allergies. Even my friends and family would keep it on stock for when I come over. Now with the new change, I can't use it. It's awful. Brings on allergy attacks and headaches. Please go back to the original.
