I love this feeder so much! I’ve had it for maybe 2-3 weeks? It took a week to start getting birds but since then I’ve had so many! The only downside which I think you’ll deal with any camera is that when it rains, it’s a bit blurry for a couple of hours unless you go out there and wipe it yourself. But other than that it’s been great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an update to an earlier review on 1/1/26
Love this bird feeder but was originally disappointed that the app did not provide a function to delete files that are stored on the SD card. Contacted support and they will not provide any ETA on when it will be available and said they were having issues with power management with the SD card. I now understand the issues as the solar panel could not keep the battery charged and the cause is probably due to writing files on the SD card. I wasted money to buy a good SD card and now will have to remove it to reduce battery drain. Disappointed that the SD card feature is advertised when it cannot effectively be supported!

We received a Beako feeder as a Christmas present from our son and it has been so enjoyable. He has one too, and we've been able to watch each other's being used.
I have a unique use case, and Kiwibit support went out of their way to get me up and running with no interruption to viewing.

I love this feeder! Great photo and video quality, removable hopper to refill easily, removable battery that I can bring inside to charge in the winter months, when we have no sun to charge the solar panel. Easy to maintain and keep clean .

Received this as a gift and really enjoy it! I'd give it 5 stars if not for the fact that it comes with a pole mount, but no pole. Not even the option to purchase the pole. And the camera still has trouble with misidentifying the nuisance animal (squirrel) as a bird. In the area that asks for identifying "the bird" if I type in "squirrel" it autofills "squirrel cuckoo" - so it has some kinks to work out. It doesn't make it any less fun though!

My Beako is great! I have it mounted in my backyard on a pole. The solar panel is doing a great job keeping the battery charged. The WiFI connection is stable so it is easy to download videos and pics. I've already got a bunch of friends chomping on bird seed. AI identification works great too! I gave all my new buddies nicknames!

Well someone finally got it right. High guilty built bird feeder with a stunning 4K resolution camera. No WiFi issues, clean steady video. The roof swings back to fill in place or lift out food storage system. Then roof will lock down with a soild locking heavy click. To open there is a nice push button. My choice was the separate solar panel, not the one in the roof. The angle of my feeder would not be the best for the sun. The feeder is heavy and well made.
