This is an incredible machine that has kept me in shape for hiking season. Great training and interval programs. The music is just so-so and I keep it muted. The reason for 4 stars is that I am 5’10 and I tower over the screen. It would be helpful to have an adjustable screen so I could actually see where the training programs are taking place. I cannot imagine that the screen meets needs of someone 5’7 and above. Otherwise I am very happy with the purchase. Really high quality machine.
I love the engagement of iFIT and the incline and decline function allows me to be better trained for big ultra racing events with a lot of steep incline and decline.
It has completely changed my cardio workouts. The screen is huge, the workouts are engaging, and the incline/decline makes every walk/hike/run feel different and challenging. It’s sturdy, smooth, and feels like running on a professional gym machine. Easily one of the best fitness purchases I’ve ever made.
Love the treadmill. It certainly would be helpful and more valuable to add more video streaming apps such as YouTube, a basic web browser, Pandora, hulu, Disney…A built in TV tuner would be nice too. Maybe a hdmi port in the back to add a Firestick? Would also be nice if you had parts available to raise the screen a bit for taller folks. Just needs a cable extension along various kits to raise the screen. Make it a purchasable option.
I bought this treadmill to train for a rim-to-rim day hike in the Grand Canyon. The training consisted of long walks at steep inclines. I used the steeper, programmed hikes in IFIT for this. That went great! I was really well prepared. My typical workout is interval based so after my trip I programmed 3 different interval sprint workouts. This has also worked out really well. I typically do a 1 minute walk, 1 minute jog, 1-2 minute sprints and then repeat, gradually increasing the sprint speed. So I have used the treadmill at booth high incline and high speeds, preprogrammed and custom programs with no issues.
