The display flickers with random pixilated blocks throughout the screen, even after applying latest drivers and windows updates.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dear Danny,
Thank you for your comment.
We certainly understand the inconvenience this may have caused if the flickering screen persisted even after applying latest drivers and Windows updates. If you have installed the chipset, ASUS System Control Interface v3 and graphics drivers and installed all Windows updates, check if the laptop is running with the most current BIOS version posted at: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-home/vivobook/asus-vivobook-s-16-oled-s5606/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=S5606CA. Additionally, try to disconnect any external devices and load optimize default inside the BIOS setup page. Furthermore, try to connect the laptop to another known good power source or AC outlet and away from electronic or electrical devices that generate excessive electrical or RF noise. An uncleaned power source or faulty electrical or electronic device that is generating excessive electrical noise can disturb static-sensitive devices or components in the laptop that may cause the screen to flicker.
