Great picture quality with thin screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is large without being overwhelming with a subtle curve that doesn’t take up the entire depth of the desk, which was something I was worried about getting an ultra wide monitor. It also has great picture quality at the same time.

Super clear monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this monitor for work and gaming. So far it has exceeded my expectations. First off the monitor is huge and heavy so make sure you have sufficient desk space before buying. The image quality is amazing and has the ability to play games using the full 49". I do wish it was slightly more curved but it is 1800r and a bot more suited for work purposes. Overall I am very happy I purchased this for black Friday and as a bonus it came with a 2tb ssd hd.

A very frustrating piece of hardware

Let's get this out of the way, first. This is a very beautiful monitor when it works as expected. No issues with the screen quality itself.
Now to the bad parts that have made buying this monitor a bit of a regret:
- The monitor frequently either 'shorts out' in a way that it goes black for a few seconds (not at all ideal for competitive gaming), or decides to switch inputs for some reason. Have tried with multiple cables, same issue
- The monitor being 'smart' is actually a GIGANTIC headache, as instead of just opening straight to my PC screen (like any other monitor would when that's the only thing connected to it). Instead it opens to Home and Samsung TV, greatly slowing down the ability to just turn the PC on and go
- Ever since having this monitor plugged into my desktop, the desktop won't complete a startup on the first boot. It works every time on the second boot for some reason, and this never ever happens with another monitor.

Again, it's great when it works, but it is VERY frustrating to have a monitor just cut out on you or not key into the one machine it's plugged directly into. Do not buy this or other 'smart monitors' if you want to avoid that.

Great monitor but not for work!

This is great monitor but for sure not for work . My eyes gone bad after using it for 2 hr & also started headache too. The fonts are very tiny/ blurry & hard to read after sometime. For sure this will be great for gaming or streaming . If you are looking productive , look for something else . I was super exited to get this monitor. 1st time moving from 27” setup to this, setup was clean & less wires . But unfortunately had to return because of above reason .

Handoff Issues and Design/Engineering issues

The picture is really really great. Unfortunately that is the only thing that is great. Because it only works about 80% of the time. I experience a ton of handoff issues especially with the DP port. I regularly check for updates, clear the cache, and take care of it, but since the beginning (I am new to the PC world and thought that it may have been some pc or user issue) I have learned a lot since then and no, it is clearly a handoff issue. The interesting thing is that in the self care area there are tests for the HDMI but nothing I have seen for the DP connections.
Another issue is the pop ups for the gaming. It blocks areas that I need to see when I need to see them.
And what I feel is the absolute worst thing about this monitor that seems to be having an identity crisis as to if it is a monitor or a tv, Is if your remote control, which is supposed to be solar but the solar panel is on the bottom of the remote so it never sees sun, dies. your monitor is also dead in the water.
Honestly I feel I am being generous with the 2 star but for 1440 it is a really nice picture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice oled with some unnecessary TV features

Great features, gaming, you name it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this monitor for everyday use and because the tremendous real estate allows me to multitask without losing track of my work. Working from home has been so much easier with this monitor. The monitor is packed with features that I may not even get a chance to use much, but I’m still very happy to have for when I do need to use them. I don’t game as much as I used to, but with this monitor, I can’t stop gaming whenever I start. The quality of this thing is amazing! The specs and features are available for everyone to see, but it’s does no justice unless you try using the actual monitor for yourself. I must mention, this monitor also serves as a streaming device which allows you to stream from all of your favorite apps like YouTube. Think of it as a television as well and yes, it does come with a remote that makes it so much easier to control the monitor without having to reach across to the control panel on the back of the monitor.
While my overall experience has been great, there’re still a couple of things I would’ve been happy to see implemented on this monitor. A LAN port for would’ve been a nice addition for folks that prefers hardwire as opposed to using WiFi. While I understand the monitor is really thin, I still see room where it could’ve been implemented, it’s not a deal breaker for me, but I’m sure it will be for some people. One last thing I would have been happy to see, is an additional standard size HDMI port making it 2 plus the current 1 micro-HDMI or
