Great monitor / TV but if you're looking for something that just monitor and ultra-wide this isn't it. I've had these two years since it came out. It's had couple updates and that's been it, but what's really getting under skin is the delay response when turning on my computer and the monitor not coming on with it. When you turn it on, then the tv part takes over and doesn't connect the pc. As your force to wait !! 2 mins and then tell it to connect to the pc. Now would buy this monitor again. I would for a tv part, but as a monitor no!
Now playing in games love it, the blacks on AMD are pretty dark as in some games you're having to mess with the colors to even see things in the dark (in game).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow, randomly turns off or goes into standby mode

I have had this monitor and the 49” version for almost a year now. The image quality and size are great.
What’s terrible as others had stated, is the UI and how slow it is to turn on. Mine both will also randomly turn off even if I am actively using my computer. Sometimes when I’m waking my computer and logging in, the monitor will immediately go into standby mode quite often. I have to unplug it from my computer and plug it back in for the screen to reconnect to my computer. This is isn’t a belkin dock on a Macbook pro via thunderbolt usb-c connection, I only use just one monitor via the dock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Designed with the Consumer in Mind

Forced Features and problems with regular input switching make this not-ideal for gaming.
Samsung: If i ever have to put my controller down in the middle of a competitive match to dismiss a message from my monitor, which blocks part of my screen for extended periods, then it fails at its main job of being a PC monitor.
I do not want to use your apps. I have a COMPUTER. I need a monitor with a "I am using this as a monitor" mode.
Switching inputs regularly also results in both inputs resulting in a black screen. The solution is the to unplug for 60 seconds.
The delay between "Dismiss message a" and "confirmation B' appears also causes me to put the remote down, resume my game, and have to reach for it again = lose the match.
PS: This form the only place I have ever seen where letters randomly disappear from my previous word as I type. Why are you sending a network request every time I type a letter that's INSANE and causes HUGE problems where it is desyncing my words because I type more quickly than your "networks.a-.bazaarvoice.com" API calls can run. Put them on a timer for a "dirty" form maybe this is hard to type.
This is so frustratingly bad UX, which checks out.

Great screen but not for ps5

Honestly I was excited to buy this but I did not know ps5 doesn’t support ultra wide screen, for the same price I could have bought the 49” one. Because this one is 34 inches but I’m playing at 27 lol! I dislike small screens but it is what it is. Over this screen has good quality images but don’t expect for it to be wide screen on ps5.

So far, it's great

Best ultra wide
