[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the 49” Odyssey OLED G9 (G91SD) mainly for work—lots of multitasking, spreadsheets, and design tools—and it has completely changed the game for me. The ultra-wide screen feels like having two monitors without the annoying bezel in the middle. It’s super crisp, colors are stunning, and the curve just pulls you in.
But here’s the kicker: when I’m done working and fire up a game or stream something, this thing shines. The OLED makes everything pop, and the 240Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth. It’s honestly hard to go back to a regular screen after this.
No regrets at all—this monitor does it all and looks amazing doing it. If you’re on the fence, go for it.

Not worth the price.

Horrible UI. Incredibly slow and unresponsive most of the time, at least in monitor mode. This machine wants to be a monitor and tv and doesn't do particularly well at either in my opinion. Even just adjusting the volume can take upwards of three minutes to respond when using the provided remote or the buttons on the monitor. My only solution has been to unplug the device, plug it back in, it then prompts a screen optimization run which turns the display off and can take 10 minutes or so before it comes back to life and responds quicker for a while.
Actual color quality is great though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this monitor, I use as a 2nd screen display for work on my laptop, played my steam deck on it, even played Forza 5 Horizon 5 simulator style, I use it to edit videos for YouTube, and watch YouTube. It's nice and clear watching with 4k ultra HD, can't believe my eyes and jaw dropping quality. Feels really high-end. I would buy another one if Samsung woukd make another one with Ai built-in, maybe 8k, lol or maybe I'm asking too much.

When I game, I GAME. the picture is amazing the colors are beyond bright, full, and memorizing.. even the speakers are decent in this thing (although, I do happen to have it hooked up to a surround sound now 😅 ) but totally would recommend.
