220 power source

F3800 was delivered quickly, bought to be used primarily as a power source for a 220 volt boat hoist and for welding applications. Have not had the opportunity to fully evaluate for each use however it is up and running and will also be used in the event of a house power outage. Glad it has wheels, as it is heavy if you need to lift it.

A plan for power outage

Well packed, shopping was excellent. Ran trial the first night on my freezer, everything was great. Will be installing a manual transfer switch. Been watching the utuber's on the Solix F3800, for different ideas.

Fast shipping, arrived within one week. Packaged well, no damage. I like that there was no assembly (wheel casters), plug and play. Consumes minimal floor space with small footprint. Simple controls.

Well made, and works great. Quiet as a mouse… not sure what the ‘noisy’ complaint was all about. Have a natural gas standby generator but wanted this for solar backup to my backup.

What a great Unit! It's a beast! I bought it to use as a backup for our house and take it on the road in our RV. The 400 watt solar panels can recharge the Solis easily in a few hours! We love it!

Incredible Back-Up Power

I am very impressed with the SOLIX F3800. I live in a rural area and my power goes out frequently. I didn't want the hassles of a gas generator, and I've been looking for a 220V inverter in a single unit to run my well pump along with most of the essentials in my house. I set up a trial run using the F3800. I was able to power my refrigerator, freezer, TV, internet, and lights in most rooms while charging my iPhones and iPads. I was using about 150-200 watts and the output meter was showing about 10 hours of backup time. That is usually more than enough time until my line power is restored. All while the unit is sitting in my family room! I hooked up the 200W solar panel and was producing about 150W with out optimizing the placement and angle to re-charge the unit. I will be ordering the transfer switch and hooking the unit into my panel box to power my well pump. I am very impressed with this unit and extremely happy with my purchase.

Just what I always wanted

We seldom have power outages and they rarely last more than a few hours. This is exactly what I want to avoid gassing up and moving my heavy generator outside to keep our essentials powered. I can always use that as a back when long outages occur. Only wish I had bought the combo deal along with the expansion battery. After testing with my transfer switch, I wanted more battery time. Ordered it afterwards which cost more than buying it bundled.
