Great triathlon watch!

I wanted a watch that would last through years of open water and pool swimming. I love that it has the leakproof inductive buttons. None of the other Garmin multisport watch models had this amazing feature (except for the dive watches). I am 100% happy with my choice!

Nice computer but lacks online user support

Purchase 2-weeks ago. The Computer/Sport Watch has a lot of features which I do expect to use after I am able to study the entire manual. My issue is I am not finding compressive videos to help make the learning process easier. There are a lot of "How to get started" and "reviews" videos I find not very helpful and are repetitive. The only other videos I've found on the Garmin website are short and do not cover all features. Disappointed there is not better support.

I love it overall. I ought thi to replace my garmin forerunner55 as a fitness tracker with the Dive Computer for redundancy. I love the clock faces, it was a little difficult to set up because of the kind of phone i use. Havent dived it yet, but so far i love the spectrum of different exercise/ activities it covers, it is very comprehensive.

Under Dive Setup, make it possible for the user to create "presets" based on our personal diving as opposed to making us go through multiple sub menus and changes to select the type of gas and water. For example
Press Start/Stop and at the top is "Dive Presets"
Select it and under this category are my personal presets...
Dive 1: air, fresh
Dive 2: Air & salt
Dive 3: Nitrox (XX): salt
Dive 4: NITROX (XX): fresh
etc, etc, etc
Then, when I go diving, I simply press and hold "light". If the dive symbol is not active, I rotate the symbols until the dive symbol is under the select. In the center are three items Dive 1, air, fresh. If I want to change from salt to nitro, I tap/select the dive symbol and my presets pop up.

even though this is technically a dive watch on top of that I use it for every day use and am super happy with it the battery life is very nice with only having to charge about a hour every two weeks. the interface is very self explanatory and I like the ability to change the watch face and what shows on it.

I made it to 60 years old without ever wearing a watch but I'm now advanced scuba certified and I needed a dive watch. I'm wearing it daily so I know how to use it readily underwater. It's easy to set up and understand especially as a non watch-bearer. So far so good except the darn thing thinks I'm at deaths door. Not sure what kind of athletic accomplishments you're supposed to have or do to wear this thing but my morning report indicates that my days might be numbered. I'm half expecting it to read give it up already. I still ski, and I moved from Colorado to Florida all by myself, so I'm doing ok. Dive trip isn't until January so I won't know if I can see the dial until then, but I did purchase this for being able to make large font, so fingers crossed. This is an amazing watch and has functions beyond belief, and you will love it. For me personally I don't like wearing a watch nor do I care for all the health data and other stuff being pumped in my face 24/7. If you're a competitive athlete or you need it for your job, I totally get it, otherwise, if you find yourself getting stressed because you're not making the right amount of steps, breaths, or flights of stairs, it might be your watch. This watch is way more than just a dive watch, it does everything. Sadly I'm still not a convert to being a watch-bearer, my arm feels heavy with responsibility, and I got a rash under the band.

Really Good Battery Life

I needed a new smartwatch because I was plugging my old one in every night. My sisters made the jump to Garmin in the last year and kept telling me my next smart watch has to be a Garmin! I also dive, so naturally I went for the G2 as a cheaper alternative to the MK series as it’s going to be my every day watch with the bonus of diving. Looking forward to taking it diving in a couple months. I am sure there are still features that I’m not using yet, too! If you are looking for a nice upgrade to other smart watches, Garmin is it! Oh and I’ve been complimented on the color a few times!

Haven't taken it on a dive yet but the other functions seem to be working as advertized. Would have liked a GPS readout to see exactly where I am.
