I loved my fenix 5 but love the fenix 8 even better. I’m still figuring out all the new features still but the ones I have used are a great upgrade!! Would highly recommend!!
This Garmin Fenix has a lot of features but I can't figure out how to do a sports activity consistently. I did a run for example and thought I had started the watch but when the run was done it hadn't tracked. It's not as easy to use as my old Garmin nor my Samsung. There wasn't an easy guide for everything either.
Upgraded from the forerunner. Love the larg bigger touchscreen and brigjtness of the face! I love this waycj and ot amazing for weights and cardio, health metrics....
I purchased the watch a couple of months ago and I’ve been very happy with it thus far. I would have given 5 stars if they provided more face option at no cost (especially at the price you pay for the watch). I would also like to see them add the blood pressure (BP) feature to the watch watch, which certainly would a differentiator (I would give a 5 star with this feature added regardless of face options).
I love my Fenix 8 43mm titanium sapphire, the new features really make a difference in my training, the materials feel great and the AMOLED screen is amazing.
The only drawback I notice is the size of the strap, it is really small and barely fits my wrist, I understand why this is marketed as the main option for women but it is considerably bigger than an automatic diver or GMT men’s watch and a better fitting strap should be offered, search the internet, there are many videos showing a hack to use a 22mm strap on Garmin 20mm watches, a knife should not be required to have a proper fitting strap.
This wasn’t my first garmin but I’m finding it so hard to use. I had practiced starting to record on a saved trail for my big race and then thought I started and hit play and somehow failed to record my race. I had to go by my heart rate because I had no idea what distance I had gone.
