So far so good. I went with this one for a better office companion. Design is clean and sleek goes perfect with professional and casual office wear. Tracks my sleep and workouts super well. Love the morning and afternoon reports. Overall amazing, cant complain the more I have it the more I've learned and the better it gets. The flashlight is amazing, you don't know how bad you need it until you need it.
The watch does take some getting used to, but that is probably due to all the functions it has, some that I won't use. But the functions will likely be useful to others who have different exercise or health routines than I do, and its good to have choices in functionality. The screen is clear and bright. Integration with My Samsung cell phone was a snap, and the battery life is incredible. I've owned a number of similar products over the years, but nothing that matches the quality or capability of the Venue 4. It's a great watch.
This is my third Garmin watch I was happy with my Vivomove sport then went into a-fib, decide I wanted a watch with ECG function. Still working on figuring all the data this watch can present.
I bought this watch about 3 weeks ago after lots of research and wanting to switch from an Apple watch to track my runs, cycling and xc skiing I do. But I didnt want to loose some of the features like notifications and calling with phone nearby that the apple watch offered. But the biggest reason I wanted to switch was because of the battery life. I was tired of charging my apple watch each night, or at various times throughout the day so I would have charge for workouts and sleep. The Garmin Venu was the answer I was looking for!
I’m older and wanted a sports watch that actually looks like a regular watch instead of a bulky fitness tracker. The Garmin Venu 4’s stainless steel design caught my eye right away. I was hesitant to buy it after seeing many complaints on Garmin forums about restarts when playing music on Bluetooth headphones during runs. When it arrived, I loaded my music, paired my headphones, and have now used the watch every day for 3 weeks (strength training, walking, and intervals). I’m happy to report I’ve had zero issues with restarts or crashes. I really like how it looks on my wrist and the bright AMOLED screen is much easier for me to read. It tracks my workouts well and feels comfortable all day. Battery life has been solid too. Overall, it’s exactly what I was hoping for.
