Nice look, not the best performance.

I bought it 2 weeks ago, and it’s a bit hard to control it mainly from the screen, I’d like it to be better controlled by the buttons, additionally it runs a bit slow when interacting while working working out in progress.

Overall, I’m very pleased with the device. I only have two issues. First, once I finish a training activity, it immediately gives me a recovery time (72 hours for example), but the next day suggests another strenuous activity before I’ve had sufficient time to recover. So there’s some mismatch going on there. Second, buy a protective screen cover, as my original screen cracked after a relatively minor contact.

I’ve had this watch for a few weeks. I needed to replace my Swim2. For swimming, it is about like the Swim 2, mostly hits, some misses, but overall I get the information I need. It is the only Garmin watch that fits my small wrists. (I’ve tried Apple, but found limitations for swimming.). Overall, I’m still finding my way..there are WAY more functions than the Swim 2.

I am enjoying my Venu 4. I really like not having to charge it every day. It does take a bit of time to figure out where to go for all the applications, but that hasn’t been a problem for me. I love the health features.

I upgraded from a Forerunner 35 to the Venu 4, and I am very happy with my purchase. The battery lasts more than ten days between charges, the features tracked by the watch are highly customizable, and it tracks health parameters of interest to me. I especially like that it works well in the cold and the rain when I am running or coaching middle school athletes. My Forerunner 35 lasted eight years in all kinds of weather and activities. I am hoping that the Venu 4 will be similarly indestructible.
