I love this machine and it's very smooth in operation. Easy put away when not in use. I'm seeing results in less than a month getting strong. Love the Abs feature! My husband had started once watching me so we both will gain from its use. Videos are very nice also. So many ways to work your body! Love this machine!

The live help oh the phone was great. We had looked for a "used" gym and found lots of Bowflex and Nordic track products for sale, but no one seemed to want to sell a Total Gym. That told us that people really loved their Total Gyms and did not get rid of them. Our gym arrived in just a few days and was as easy to set up as it claimed. The workout is fast and easy and we actually enjoy doing it. Fantastic product.

My wife and I recently had gastric surgery and have both lost over 100 lbs. We are both in our late 40's and did not want to spend tons of money going to the gym. We needed something that we both could use and not worry about working out on. We both use the Total Gym XLS at minimum 3 times a week and have experienced great results. The loose flabby skin is melting away into toned solid areas. I am a former Athlete and was shocked to see how much flab I had developed. Well it is disappearing before my eyes. The Total Gym is easy to use and fun to work out on. You won't find clothes hanging off of this machine at our house we use it all the time.

I have diabetic nuerophy and I am unable to Work out using the traditional ways such as CD programs die to the pain in my feet. With the total gym you are getting an excellent workout without bearing weight on my feet. Bestl purchase ever

My exercise regime has been non-existent since "growing up". Joined gyms, attended occasionally, got busy...then nothing. After my 65th birthday, I ordered the Total Gym. I have used it more often in the month or so that I've owned it than I have attended all the various gyms. Although it is easy to set up and take down, I leave it set up in my TINY apartment so that I actually have to step over it! (I'm only up to level 2 now). My physical therapist reviewed the poster and suggested what "moves" would replace what she had me do for my neck/shoulders with bands. (Another great feature--I can't misplace the equipment!). I added two to the startup routine and now think I'll do fine even though my therapy sessions are over. I do wish I had a 3-position bar for pull ups like the Total Gym at therapy. But I'm very happy with my much used purchase.

I was not able to pull the black beam up at all when opening the machine for use. I had to lay it on it's side and hit it with the but of my hand hard a few times before it moved. There were two lips preventing it from moving which I removed. Also the video said to hang the pulley on the back of the beam when not using. no place to hang it on the back but there is one on the front. Maybe the beam is on backwards. Other than that it is a nice machine.
