We have had the Gym for about 3 months and we're very pleased with the planning and construction of the Gym. I've been ill with Lyme Disease for 13 years and the most important part of recovery is exercise (which is also very difficult when you feel as though you have the flu, but it's the Lyme). This machine makes it easy to start out slow and easy without over-doing. I have graduated recently from level 2 to level 3. The videos are helpful, but, so far, I have worked out my own routine. It is a pleasure to exercise on the Total Gym.... but, in my case, I must do it every day for one hour.. slowly, in order to gain strength after being seriously de-conditioned. It takes discipline to continue any exercise program. If you put in the time it is well worth the quick results!

We are using this daily and can feel the difference it is making to our strength. Not that Chuck Norris or Christy Brinkley need to look over their shoulders to see who the new guys are. I used to work as a Utility Plant Operator and got my workouts done operating large steam valves and climbing steel ladders hand over hand from the basement up to the top of the stacks. But since retiring my muscles have atrophied. It is great to awaken and do the startup routine. Slow and steady wins the race. My wife likes this and needs this as it is low impact and she can go until she is at her limit and then challenge herself the next time to exceed the previous time. We are still in the trial period and are evaluating it but are so far happy we bought this. We did have an exercise bike in the past and the seat was a nice place to place my coffee cup. We are using this. A well made machine that looks like it will stand the test of time.
