I am an old weight lifter and push up type of guy. Total Gym is great, I really get a great work out...when I want a burn I get that too. It really works, well worth the money and I stay at home so no excuses.

I've had the Total Gym XLS for about a month. So far it has been exactly what I had been hoping for. The quality is excellent and seems like it will last a long time. Very easy to use and adjust for different exercises. I may buy the weight attachment bar for a few exercises like the chest press where I'm already at the highest level.

I bought this in mind for my husband and myself were middle aged and so out of shape beer gut and aprons well you get the picture so not pretty. After 1 month of only 3 days a week working out in basement and following the easy diet plan my husband lost 17lbs and feels and looks good. My apron is disappearing and I feel so good lost 10 lbs looking forward to what we will feel like and look like at end of next month. I used the Total Gym a few times after it was delivered. Unfortunately I'm unable to continue as the sliding motion caused dizziness. I suffer from vertigo and didn't expect the equipment to cause a problem as I exercise regularly. The equipment is being returned and the call center was very helpful.
