I have Cerebral Palsy and have had a knee and hip replacement. My balance is off and as I have worked out on the Total Gym XLS, I have noticed my balance getting better as my muscles tone and my body weight decreases.

I am 62 with a knee replacement and I found its the best thing for dropping some weight gained b4 I had the knee replacement. I have to replace the other knee but this machine I can work around it and still have a great workout and stay fit. I dropped 7 lbs. in 3 weeks!

I bought the XLS about a month ago and love it. I still have a gym membership, which I use for running and weights, but the XLS is great for evening workouts when I am in front of the television. It glides seamlessly and is extremely quiet. The transitions are so easy. I can go from one exercise to the next with nothing more than rotating my hand or arm positions.

I bought my Total Gym XLS about a month ago. I am lovimg it. I have been kind of playing around with it a bit...getting to know it. I have now set up and started my 5 day20 minute workout plan. I am really looking forward to seeing and feeling the results......This is so exciting. I have mine where I can just leave it up all the time (great incentive, as it is in the middle of my floor between the sofa and the TV. Don't have a photo right now but will try and get one for you. I am needing to lose 20-30 pounds, so I'm off and running...YAAAY!!! I do have a bit of a hard time lifting to set a higher level, but hope to gain more strength to make it easier soon...

We bought the Total gym a little over a month ago, and it has been a wonderful purchase. My husband has already built up muscle mass in arms and legs while losing about 10 pounds. I do my own exercises that help my arms and core and the stretching at the end of my session is wonderful to stretch the back. You can work out as easily or as much of a work-out as you like, but even my youngest daughter can work up a sweat for a lean machine!!! Great and very sturdy!!!
