Great Equipment Great Workout

The Total Gym XLS is a great piece of equipment. I would not improve a thing about the product. The only question I have is the order confirmation states the down payment amount and then an additional 7 month payment at a certain rate but the first month payment after the initial down payment was higher than stated on my original contract confirmation. It is only different by a few pennies but it is still different. Not sure why that is but I will contact the company directly. All in all I would still purchase another product from them in a heart beat.

Great Product

My wife and I brought the XLS after seeing it on TV. We wanted to have a way to exercise regularly, at home. Our goal was to loose some weight and get in overall better shape. After just two weeks following the beginners circuit training the effects are noticeable. Already better posture, tightened muscles and lost 3 pounds!! And it's fun!

GREAT MACHINE

I use it for my own physical fitness. My son was diagnose pre-diabetic and had to lose some weight. I started him on this and he lost about 20 pounds. He has helped him greatly.

Wanted something smaller and more effective than the 'bows', the 'rods', or free weights and benches. Thought I'd give the XLS a try and am I pleased!! Rehab on a shoulder and a back injury is great - smooth, easy to control range of motion and I don't hurt myself setting the doggone thing up. Additionally, it's not a piece of furniture taking up valuable room on the porch, or the garage, or a spare room. It's out of sight but not out of mind.

I'm 64 years old and the investment I made in this machine is by far the best move I've ever made in as many years. I use it every other day and have started light and easy but plan on increasing the resistance each month until I max it out. At that point I will order the weight bar and add plates for more resistance. I was of the opinion that the machine wouldn't provide the resistance I thought I needed...I WAS WRONG!!!

Easy to use for any level

I wasn't sure how this machine was going to work for me since I really haven't worked out before and I wasn't sure what exercises exactly to do. This machine comes with everything you could possibly need to start working out! It was so easy to pop in the DVD and follow along to start working out. It was easy to add different exercises in for areas I wanted to work on. Also the nutritional information that came with the machine was very very helpful in helping me start to eat healthy. Being able to track my eating and exercising was a huge help. I'd recommend this unit to anyone! You don't have to be an expert to use this!

Why didn't I order one months ago!!

I have had my Total Gym for one month and I am so happy with it. I can get up in the morning put on my workout clothes and go right to my gym. I am amazed at the simplicity of the workouts and the amount of sweat they produce. I notice the cardio and heart rate increase. I will never have to spend time driving to the gym again.

Good Therapy machine

I had total knee replacement and use the machine as therapy to get my knee mobility closer to normal. Have seen some improvement. That being said, it is pretty heavy to move around and takes up a lot of room, but I believe it's worth the effort.
Pros: Comfortable, Quiet, Sturdy, Strengthens, Easy To Use
Cons: Bulky, Hard To Set Up, Heavy For Old People
