51 YOA. Trying to stay in shape and build muscle strngth. Am currently jogging about 3 miles and riding a bike for 9 miles 5 days a week. Want to add some muscle/strngth exercises using the total gym. Watching the TV informercials and reading the total gym reviews got me interested in this machine.

My girlfriend who is 5'3" and also uses it has a hard time reaching the handles/cables and getting situated on the bench so I always have to help her onto it. Maybe a thicker lower foot rest and bench stop adapter to move the bench up and extend the cables out further would be something that would help shorter people to use it.

This product is great! I'm athletic and play rec sports but ive never cared for going to the gym or doing any kind of workout until I got the total gym. its fun and easy to use. the dvds are easy to work out along with and very FUN! which keeps me coming back to it and actually wanting to do workouts. If you are fit like me but to lazy/don't care for the gym but you want to do some sort of workout or just want to get healthy the total gym is for you.

I would describe myself as someone who works out at least 5 days a week. I began working out with my mom as a child. My total Gym was delivered the end of August 2013 and I use it 4 days a week. along with other exercising, I have seen improvement in my body definition. The Total Gym may seem like a simple workout, but it is hard work. When you work out, the sweat is crazy! The workouts are intense! The workouts provide, cardio, strength and in my opinion, helps you with stamina. Using the equipment that you get with the XLS, you can even do exercises that are not on the videos. I know what I want to work on, and I can adjust the gym for those exercises. I do wish there were more workouts available for the XLS.

Love my Total Gym

Loved the total gym the very first time i used it. Im on week 3 using the Total Gym and feel stronger than I have in years. Iknow I will keep using the Total Gym because its fun. Great piee of equipment.

I would highly recommend the total gym. This has been the best purchase I have ever made. The quality is amazing, and it is so easy to use. It's amazing how great of a work-out I get in such a short amount of time!
