I have a bad back, with the Total Gym i get a great work out and it helps my back. I have spend hundreds on other work out machine. The Total gym is the best workout machine i ever used as it works your whole body, The best purchase i ever made.

I had never done any strength training in the past, so I was a little worried that it would be too hard, but I started out slow. I have advanced from the Beginner DVD to Intermediate and really enjoy Todd's enthusiasm in the DVDs! I recommend this product to everyone, regardless of their current fitness level.

overall I think it is a great machine, but some of the quality is not up to expectations. My bar for the shoulder press and core extension is welded together crooked. I would expect better.

This machine was incredibly easy to put together & I never put it away b/c it just fit in the room perfectly and I can use it at anytime - even for a few minutes. It has been toning & strengthening my body since the moment I got it. I LOVE IT!!!!

I'm 75 and had both of my knees replaced about 5 years ago. While I've always been engaged in sports, I really wanted to get back into tennis. The Total-Gym has helped me build up my core and upper body strength. This has permitted me to compete at a relatively high level. The way that tennis has changed (the players today being so much stronger) I've worked on increasing my upper body strength in order to be able to compete with the younger guys and hard hitters. 20 minutes a day with this Total-Gym has been quite beneficial. Amazingly, I only utilize about 6 or 7 different exercises. I can't begin to tell you how much workout equipment that I have given away over the years but, I can tell you that the Total-Gym is here to stay.

Can't believe I paid for pilates classes

I've had my Total Gym for a few months, and I use it three times a week with the index card exercises, and hop on when I watch TV for some ab and arm reps. I find it a bit difficult to fold up by myself so I just leave it set up in my living room; it does take up a bit more room than I was expecting. Otherwise, I've been able to replicate the Pilates exercises I was paying tons of money for at a studio and am so glad I purchased this product.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Effective, Strengthens
Cons: Bulky
