The total gym gives you a better workout than the infomercials would lead you to believe. I am using the workout DVDs that came with the unit. I am feeling a difference in my body already. It isn't visible yet, but my clothes fit a little differently, and I feel better.
The unit is quite sturdy, and the accessories are super easy to attach and detach. I am currently 257 lbs and my XLS holds me up easily. No creaking, swaying, or rocking at all.

I suffer from fibromyalgia and CFS and exercise is the best medicine and that's why I bought the Total Gym. Not only do I feel better than ever but I lost 10lbs in a month and my husband decided to give it a try and he lost weight as quickly as I did. I can't believe how many exercises there are, how easy and comfortable they are to perform and how they work on every part of your body. It also was a plus not to have to put it together when it arrived and we love how it folds up so easily and takes up no room. This is the first piece of exercise equipment that is not going to turn into a place to hang clothes on and collect dust. I can't wait to buy more accessories and have recommended to at least a dozen people already.

I have had to wait to set it up waiting for my room to open back up. I set up today and had to take it apart to put it up until I was able to use it. I set it up and watched the videos. I am not sure if I am putting the wing attachment on correctly as it is loose when I pull on it. it seems the pin does not go all the way through and it is wide on assembly. So far I have started to use it and get to know the equipment. If any one has any suggestions please advise. It seems that I am going to be pleased with my gym as soon as I get use to it.

Excellent work out machine. I had no idea how good this is making me feel. The exercises are easy to learn and in no time I was in full swing . Viewing the DVD was very helpful. It showed me lots of exercises to try. I'm going to be 64 years old this month and it was the best birthday gift I have ever received.
