Total Gym XLS Really Does Work!

My wife and I have no interest in a gym membership and got bored with ellipticals, treadmills and bikes. We had another home gym previously that used bows for resistance that was a pain to use. Nothing kept our interest. We've had our Total Gym XLS now for almost 60 days and both see improvements in overall strength, definition and overall fitness using it 4-5 times per week. We're not looking to bulk up, and gain massive amount of muscle, we're looking to be more fit and healthier. We both really enjoy and actually look forward to using the Total Gym XLS. It is very easy to adjust the restance levels, easy to move from one exercise to another without unclipping parts, removing parts and wasting time. The only minor issue is some squeeking at joints that developed after about a month, have to isolate them and see if some graphite or tighting bolts a little would help. We're very satisified with the product and the results and wish we had taken a chance on the product earlier.

Since having this machine we have gotten on a regular exercise program of 3-4 days a week for the first time ever. We were impressed with the variety of exercises you can do on this one machine.

Total Occupational Therapy

I broke my right shoulder several months ago. Since I started using the Total Gym, I have regained the strength and range of motion in my right arm. This piece of equipment has enabled me to do things I haven't been able to do with occupational therapy alone. Thanks Total Gym!

The gym is effective and both strenghtens me and streches me. It is best to have a pin in the slide board and leave in place until you have unfolded the gym. I do this with a separate pin that is not tied to the base. I love the workout cards and I found online sources of workouts for the unit. All in all the Total Gym is much better than I expected and I am very pleased with the purchase.

I am 63 and for years I have suffered from lack of muscle tone due to several neck and back surgeries, now I use the Total Gym 3 days a week and have seen more muscle recovery and bulk than in the past 20 years of trying many different products and routines. It's efficient, easy and a joy to use. I would recommend this for everyone regardless of their limitations.

have an artifical left shoulder and a weak right shoulder...this machine is the closest to the physical therapy machine i used for months at the hospital..smooth easy and no pain..
