It's hard to get motivated for exercise, but I love my total fit gym because it gets me motivated all the time! I find it's very easy to use and although I get great workouts I still feel I don't put in a lot of effort, it's that easy. I went from not exercising to using the machine 3-4 times every week. I'm getting the results I was looking for particularly increased energy and mental clarity. I love it and can't thank the manufacturers enough.

I am 53 years old, and have been working out since I was 22. When I bought the Total Gym 2 months ago, I thought I was in great shape. However, I soon realized that I wasn't getting a complete workout with just a stepper and hand weights. Since I've been using the Total Gym, I have gained strength in my arms, knees and back...I feel GREAT! I still use the stepper, but I've added the Total Gym for a 40 - 45 minute workout four times a week.

I saw your infomercial on TV one Saturday morning and was convinced this was the equipment I needed to begin a daily simple and short exercise routine. We love it! My husband uses it every morning. I am using it too! Even my 8 year old son gets on! He thinks it is fun! You can adjust it to your own level - so its perfect for us all! The videos have been very helpful in teaching me all the ways I can use it!! Slow and steady is my new motto! A little every day will help me stay healthy - which is my goal!!!!

I purchased the Total Gym XLS about one month ago and have been very satisfied with the product to date. The set up was extremely easy and no tools were required (as advertised) which was a huge plus. The machine is smooth and quiet and allows for a quick, efficient work out, especially when time is precious. My wife and I have two children under the age of two and, as you can imagine, neither of us has a lot of free time during the day! However, the Total Gym is ideal for "parents on the go" because its design allows for a good, full body workout in 10-15 minutes. Plus, I can target different muscle groups by simply adjusting my position on the Total Gym versus having to store/use multiple workout tools/machines. And if I need more resistance, such as for leg squats, the incline of the board is easy to adjust and done simply with two hands (again, no tools are required). I definitely recommend purchasing the training packet information and any add-on's (such as the ab cruncher). The training information is helpful to get you started on proper form and use of the Total Gym, including different exercise ideas that I likely would not think of on my own. And the add-on's that are available just expand the overall functionality of the Total Gym product to ultimately provide for a better workout.
The machine is slightly longer than expected when fully extended and so you need to just plan for an appropriate room/floor space to use it. However, it can be stored away easily which can't be said for most treadmills and elliptical machines, not to mention full body gym stands! In my judgment, the length is equivalent to a high end elliptical machine.

I recently purchased the Total Gym XLS as a replacement for personal training I have been doing for the past 12 months at a cost of over $3,000 per year. It was a no-brainer to purchase the Total Gym for a fraction of the cost of 1 year of personal training and the gym will last for years to come. I had actually owned one of the first Total Gyms that came out in the early 1980's and sold it when we moved to a small apartment and did not have room for it. There are so many variations of the exercises that you can do with various levels which allows you to get more fit and still stay challenged. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get or stay fit and it is actually fun to use. I also got the Ab Crunch accessory and love it! The gym comes with a variety of videos and training cards that are color coded based on which part of your body you want to work out. You will never get bored using this gym or incorporating it into a home exercise program.

I bought this 30 days ago and as a retired Firefighter, this is a great workout to keep in shape! The tools(DVD's and extra accs.) are excellent! Very easy to set up and use...Hint, Watch the set up DVD and go thru the exercises .. very Helpful!
