Greatest Exercise System Ever!

I am 65 and was going to the YMCA for workouts on the average of 3-4 times a week. I also walk a lot in the Senior park where I live. Sometimes it is not fishable for me to go to the Y, lack of gas money or maybe I just don't feel like going over 30 miles to exercise. I had seen the ads for the total gym since day one. A few months ago I made the discission to try the Total Gym and am so glad I did. Now I can exercise everyday and in the privacy of my home, no privacy ar YMCA. I make payments on my Total Gym however I am saving money monthly, because I paid $80 a month for my YMCA membership + the cost of gas both ways. At the price of gas alone, now days, I'm saving. I also love the privacy. The Total Gym came completely set up and ready.When your done, it folds back together, with ease and can be stored anywhere, even under my bed. They have very explicate instructions on DVD's which made it even easier to learn. The only draw back for me was making sure I had the area to do all the exercises, in which I quickly found out. I love my Total Gym and know this was the best decision I have ever made.

Good machine needs very few upgrades

I like the Total Gym XL with the six day workout. Looking forward to ramping up a bit with new workouts. For some exercises I would rather have a longer seat. I am disappointed with the foot pad. It creaks and has cracked since I started using the machine. I also have to constantly mess with the safety pin when changing between grades because it always slips out of the second hole. Always stays it the first hole though. Overall good product.

I love the total gym. I like being home to exercise. my 22 year old son uses this everyday and gets to work out and not pay for a gym membership. I love how easy it is to use.

This can do anything with all of the attachments available... Lots of good DVD instuctional videos too!

Professional equipment

I work from home, so it is very convenient to have equipment that I can use day or night, in any weather. For some reason, my cat likes to sleep on the bench.

I bought this because I wasn't able to go to the gym every day. I lost 15 pounds in 2 1/2 months. I have more energy throughout the day and am very happy with this product.
