my wife and myself use it almost daily. It is a super machine but makes quit a bit of noise during the different phases of excercise depending on what you are doing. It is really beneficial and has helped my wife with her rehabilitation from shoulder surgery. We love it!!!

Everything I Hoped For....

I'm 66 and was once involved with several sports, including football, soccer, running and swimming. After getting married, work and family became my main priorities, and fitness became secondary. That changed when I turned 48 and ran my first marathon, which became my staging area for ultra-marathons and triathlons, which I pursued ardently until I realized (from observations from my wife...) that I was spending virtually all my time training. Then a few years ago, I developed some major health issues that caused me to drastically cut back the tempo and type of fitness training I could handle. That became very frustrating-- until I decided to respond to one of the ads I saw for Total Gym. I got it, immediately used it and am very happy to report that this is one incredible piece of equipment! The included exercise recommendations are very good, but I especially like the ability to modify routines according to ones specific wishes and/or capabilities. Everything is explained in print or video very clearly and efficiently, so setting up and using is no problem whatsoever. As far as I'm concerned, having used virtually every form of exercise equipment over the years, this is the only piece of equipment I think 99% of people would ever need or want. I would definitely recommend Total Gym to anyone seeking a well-made, multi-function piece of equipment that is effective and easy to use.

I tried the total gym for two months. I really enjoyed and looked forward to my work outs. But, in the end I could not justify the expense over the older model I have had for years.

Wonderful Machine

I began to excersize and it was easy to fall off from routines when life changes come around. When I got the total gym it was very simple to quickly get back into a routine. To much of my surprise fun. Often use it while Im watching netflix. Notice body more tone is what i was looking for. I wondered if it would be much a problem since 36% of my body was burned in the military. Often times I had to recover in excersizes. Pain comes way often do to stretching of the skin. Been over 15 years since that time. With the total gym I could easily gauge and set up excersizes that worked and not hindered me. Now I got a weight bar adding 35lbs. I continue to use it. Enjoy the machine. Im told I look very good. Hehe happy to here. Only issue I have is when I use the pullies for leg stretches. On level 6 it hits me so i set to level 4 so when i stretch my legs to the side, the ropes dont hit my shoulders and head. Other than that I enjoy the machine very much. Very happy with it.

Core Strengthing key to happier life

My husband and I use the product. For me it was about getting into shape and loosing weight. I didn't want arms that wave back at me. :) It seemed hard at first but I litterally went slow and worked myself up to a regular work out. I could tell I was getting stronger. My husband wanted to get in shape and bulk up. It is working for him as well but don't tell him because I will never be able to live it down. This purchase was a gift to myself.

I USE THE TOTAL GYM AS A 15-20 MINUTE WORKOUT IN THE EARLY MORNINGS PRIOR TO SHOWERING FOR WORK. THE BENEFITS ARE TREMENDOUS, AND I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE FACT THAT I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE THE COMFORT AND SAFETY OF MY HOME TO GET A GREAT WORKOUT!!! I love this product; it's easy to use, easy to move around and storage. It looks perfect in my place, it looks like it belong here and the great part about it it's like having my on gym in my home, I don't have to worry about the time any more rushing to get to the 24 hour gym just to find out you have to wait for your turn. This was a gift to me and I couldn't have thought of nothing else that turned out to be so beneficial. I work out with my video trainers who make me feel like they are right in my living room its feels so personal. My Total Gym is very easy to use I keep it out for my every day 30 minutes Workout, I see and feel the results. It's easy to put up at a very quick notice when unexpected guest arrive. I feel 20 years younger my energy level is at its highest peak, it's a joy to get to work and my kind of work can be stressful because I am an actress, writer, singer, producer and director working on my upcoming films and I mean two films at once a Drama and Musical plus Book so you can imagine how my mental state of mind was before I got Total Gym. My total gym help me to elaborate mentally especially after my working outs. When I looked back three months ago my body and my life felt like I was in limbo, I knew I had to do the work but my timing was off it was very hard to get with the program with good results, I was so tired physical, mental and spiritual, my love ones and friends were so concern about me working day and night until five in the mornings, barely sleeping and eating, just on the go with a feeling I am not really going anywhere I was totally out of sync with myself. I was beginning to feel sorry for myself for feeling that there its enough time in the day to finish what I had started, and no one can understand what I was really feeling inside. I would go to the 24 hour gym at all hours to work out like a mad person because I am feeling confused and crazy thoughts running through my head, "my work will never be really done, who am I kidding I would say to myself, I am not going to finished my book, and just forget about these films back to back. I was feeling that no would understand. I was a mess. Then I saw Total Gym Commercial, it was like God himself had said "stop,look and listen this is your gift from me to you." I pick up the telephone and called the number that was flashing on my TV screen. I will never forget that feeling of excitement dashing through my body it was a serious rush. I called and my Total Gym was here within a week. It felt like every holiday on the calendar all at once. I started working out with my new found friends, my first week Start Ups with Rod Glick and Rosalie Brown, than the following week The Beginner Program I BOOST ENERGY AND BLAST FAT with Todd Durkin, the 3 week GRAVITY Pilates;; Infused Core with Helen Vanderburg then the fourth week I am back with Todd Durkin with the GET RIPPED RESULTS. Now I am so balance and feeling good with my thoughts, mental, spiritual and physical. Every night before I retire for bed for 6 to 8 minutes I am working out with Rosalie Brown I have even thrown in Belly dance with Cardio Shimmy. I mean how blessed and lucky can you get, your own Total Gym coming with Professional Personal Trainers that you don't get bore with they keep you going they even make me laugh when they say "Let do this one more time"! I looked forward for each and every day work out on mine Total Gym with my personal trainers helping me put my created mine back together again, especially my creative imagination. I employ myself and characterized by creativity into a literary movement, I launched my work, myself mental, spiritual and physical into completion. My life is in divine order now I finished writing my Book and Musical Film "Space The Intangible Realities". I've finished editing the Trailer for Space, The Intangible Reality and One My Valentine, and now I am ready and going to present my projects to the AFM.
