My lifetime gym

I am a Zumba Instructor and was in an accident that put a hault on me teaching the high impact aroebics. I bought total gym to assist me in gaining my strength back, as well as help me stretch out my injured body parts. I am currently following the cards under the long & lean programs. I use the total gym 3x's a week. I am more stronger and it actually relives me from some of the pain that was caused by the accident. I've lost inches everywhere. I am in my 7th week and can't wait to see myself after my 52nd week. My goal is to be fit at 40.
Pros: Strengthens, Easy To Use, Easy To Set Up, Quiet, Sturdy, Easy Storage, Comfortable

Getting in Shape! Finally!

After reading some of the reviews on here after I order the total gym; I became nervous. However, I have been nothing but happy with my decision. I had a gym membership and paid for a year of personal training (all of which cost much more than the total gym) and all I got from that was agonizing pain and disappointment. The total gym allows me to exercise without pain (I have suffered severe knee pain since childhood) which enables me to keep going. I would dread going to the gym because I would be in so much pain afterwards. Now with the total gym I am exercising every morning and feel absolutely wonderful! For the first time in 10 years I have been able to shed some pounds. I am down 17 lbs in the first 6 weeks! I have no plans of stopping and hope to hit my goal way by November 1, 2012! Believe me if I hit it, you will be getting my before and after photos! The only con is it is a bit difficult to store. It doesn't slide up as easily as shown on the infomercial; but since I actually use this piece of equipment it has just become part of our living room! I don't care if you think that's tacky; my health is more important than fashion!
Pros: Strengthens, Sturdy, Comfortable, Quiet, Easy To Use
Cons: Bulky, Hard To Set Up

I went to gyms for years. I liked it, but I had a certain routine. Waiting for equipment because it was busy threw it off. Plus I have bad shoulders. I finally gave in after watching your info commercial for the 1000th time! Hahaha. I LOVE it!! I just wish I bought this sooner. I have been using the Total Gym for 1 1/2 years.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy Storage, Sturdy, Quiet, Strengthens, Easy To Use, Easy on my joints, Easy To Set Up

I put off buying the total gym for years. I even bought another gym! I didn't have the other one a year before I got rid of it. It had an annoying bump in the middle of the rail! every time you moved up and down the rail you got the bump bump. The XLS is SMOOTH no problems, makes you want to keep going. Also came with a bunch of training DVD's! This one is going to be used alot! Looking forward to using the ab crunch that came with it. If your like me and put off buying one of these you got to try it out it will amaze you!

i got hurt at work in 1993 my leg & back are really messed up i wanted to stay in shape i tried free weights but they hurt my leg & back i tried all the places around town i like the idea of having a lot of different types of exercises all in 1 machine & leg & my back are supported i can do all these in my own home is the best thing also i have got my 2 teenagers to try my total gym

Got up to 356 pounds, something had to change. Incorporating this with a sensible diet has led to 40 lbs lost and much more to come. Hopefully I'll be on an infomercial one of these days! :) Wish I'd have done it years ago! Don't wait like I did, add it to the cart now!

I have been heavy set my entire life. I was looking to lose weight for a while and was not losing the weight I wanted even after joining a gym. I found a lot of exercises where hard on my joints and would give me more pain then results. The Total Gym XLS is fantastic. I use it 3 times a week. The gliding motion makes exercises easy on my joint, more fun then the gym and gives me a great workout. You can transition into the different exercises easily. I workout my entire body in minuets on the Total Gym rather then hours at the gym. I lost already 10 Lbs. If you really want to lose weight buy the Total Gym it works wonders!
