Excellent Product

I use the product mostly for upper body strength and have found an increase in my strength in a short time. I do find the unit a pain to fold and unfold, so I leave it in the unfolded position.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Strengthens
Cons: Hard To Set Up, Bulky

My husband and I use the Total Gym several times a week. We both really like this machine, it's easy to use and there are a lot of different exercises that can be done with this one machine. Even though it is made to fold up and put away, we find it is still easier to leave it set up so we can use it through out the day as we find time.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Strengthens, Comfortable

I use this several times a week, maybe 15-20 minutes each time and I can feel my arms are much stronger after two months of use. It is easy to put together.

It is a little challenging for the "elderly" to move around to set up, but makes you feel terrific when you start to use it! The equipment is extremely well built and sturdy. I was intimidated at first and watched it collect dust. Then one day said it needed its "break-in day" and found out how great it is. I was surprised to find out it really is everything you say it is!!! I feel as if I had gone to a real Gym!!! Hopefully it will get me into the same shape you are in!
Pros: Easy To Use, Sturdy, Strengthens, Quiet, Comfortable

I thoroughly enjoy this product. So glad I bought it, should've done it sooner. I've tried many other types of workouts. I've purchased workout dvd's - some work, most don't. The best thing I've found before the total gym xls was a workout game for Wii. But dvd's are limited in their scope. I bought the total gym for 3 reasons. 1. I hate going to the gym. 2. I LOVE resistance training. 3. This truly is a total gym. I mean, 80+ exercises? That's probably more than I could even do at the gym and I would be paying at least $50 per month for a gym membership. 10 out of 10 stars for me.
Pros: Fun, Strengthens, Never gets boring, Easy To Set Up, Easy Storage, Truly is a total gym, Comfortable, Quiet, Easy To Use, Sturdy

Ease of use for over 60's

I find the Total Gym offers full range of motion exercises while relieving stress on joints. It is the most useful exercise equipment for those over the age of 60. My wife and I both appreciate the ease of switching from one level to the next.

IM BUYING A SECOND TOTAL GYM

I PURCHASED A GYM FOR MY SELF, LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT IM GOING TO BUY ANOTHER AND TAKE IT TO MY SON-IN-LAW IN THE PHILIPPINES WHEN I GO HOME TO VISIT AGAIN THIS SPRING. THIS IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WHICH HELPS ME TONE MY WHOLE BODY, AND KEEP ME IN SHAPE AND IM 79 AND LOVE IT. MY ENCURAGES ME TO KEEP UP ON MY TRAINING SO ILL BE AROUNT FOR ANOTHER 50 YEARS THAT I HAVE PROMISED YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS EQUIPMENT IF YOU WANT TO GET GOOD EXERCISES AND DO NOT NEED A LOT OF OTHER EQUIPMENT TO ASSIST YOU, IT ALL THERE, IT THE TOTAL GYM

I've changed my body dramatically!

The dvd's all have amazing trainers, but Helen Vanderburg has delivered the best results for me. She really challenges my body to perform. My core has strengthened and my stomach muscles are defined. I didn't have that a year ago with many years of going to the gym behind me. I feel like my body is in great shape now and I keep getting better. Thanks for your product!
