Unbelievably Easy!

This was a gift to myself for my 50th Birthday. It arrived in less than a week of placing my online order. I took it out of the box, set it up and away I went! I use it almost every day. It's extremely easy for a beginner to use and as I have become stronger, I have increased the intensity. The variety of exercises that you can do on this one machine is truly amazing, including the cardio workouts. I love it!

It is working well for me with strenght training and stretching. Like that are so many variations of exercise that I can do on it. The instructions are difficult to read, but the video instructions are great. It would be good to point out in an obvious place that these instructions are on the video.

I hate to workout. I do it under duress! The Total Gym makes it easy and quick. I love the workout plans that you can choose from, they make it a "no brainer"!

We sold our Bowflex and purchased the Total Gym XLS. Easier to use and takes up less space.

Better Than PT for Knee Rehab

Having had two knee surgeries in the same year (5 in all), my insurance physical therapy benefit had run out. So instead of paying for PT out of pocket, we decided to order a Total Gym and use that primarily for my knee rehab. We found that not only is it perfect for knee rehab given that it is low impact, but it also has been amazing for upper body strength. My husband doesn't need knee rehab, but uses it every morning to get more fit. We both feel better and look better - and my legs and knees are stronger than they have ever been. Bring on the tennis and skiing!

I am 72yrs old.Have been working out since 18 yrs old. I have used free weights,weight machines,and isometric devices. At my age, the Total Gym is superior to all of these in changing from one execise to the next. While doing a home project on new years day I tore a muscle in my right shoulder. At this time I cannot do exercise involvintg my shoulder, but can continue working on my abs and legs. I would not be able to do those exercises with free weights or machines, because I could not set up for the those exercises. Larry Plmer
