Great but needs a couple of tweeks!

I use it to stretch my muscles at the same time trying to strengthen the muscles. It's a little difficult to keep changing what to hook on the bench. It's also difficult to strap the foot strap while trying to keep the bench still. Once you exercise using the foot straps, it's uncomfortable on my foot and lower leg where the knot on the rope and the metal buckle is. It rubs on my lower leg. You should have a padded foot strap.
Pros: Strengthens, Quiet, Sturdy
Cons: Uncomfortable, Hard To Use, Hard To Set Up

I don't ever feel horribly sore that I want to quit using it days after.

The Total Gym is very easy to use. I was surprised to find the extent the my work outs improved over conventional workout routines.

I use it for general fitness and to build more strenth.I like that it doesn't take a long time to work out and I can move from exerises quickly. Another reason I got it was for my dad that has got joint issues and he can work out with out discomfort.

I can honestly say that I look forward to working out. It is actually fun. My whole family has gotten involved and enjoys exercising now. Has definantly made a lifestyle change for myself and my family. I only wish I had purchased it years ago

This is my second Total Gym

I have Herthal Cell Thyroid Cancer with tumors on my bones and on the outside of my lungs. I broke my right femer at one of the tumors. The Total gym allows me to do part of my workout using low impact exercises as I strengthen the areas where the cancer is. It increases my resolve to work to get as well as I can. My cancer is incurable but my moral stays high when I work out.
