I use my TG as pretty much my only means of exercise. I like that I feel I've gotten a good workout in a short time. I dislike having to get it set up and put it away. The set up/tear down takes almost as long as the workout itself. I enjoy being able to use whichever workout I need with the same machine and that my husband need only change the incline to make it work for him. It would be nice if I felt that I got more cardio with this machine, but some of the workouts DO give me *some* cardio. Overall, I really just need to use it more. I bought it hoping that quick workouts (that are both cardio and resistance training) would get me to DO the workout more often and get the results I want. So far, I workout more than I had before the TG (since that was 0), but not as much as I had hoped.
Pros: Easy To Use, Comfortable, Sturdy, Quiet, Strengthens
Cons: Bulky, Hard To Set Up

Absolutely Love this machine! I feel like I get a great workout in without spending hours doing it. Another thing is that I'm not so sore the next day that I can't move like I was when I lifted weights. I love the way you can change up the workouts just by changing one thing in how you use the cables. I also love that the Total Gym is low impact, anyone from age 8 to 80 can use it and be comfortable! I would recommend the Total Gym to anyone looking to improve and enhance their quality of life! P.S. I also love how the Total Gym is shipped-very easy to set up! Thank you!

I love the total gym. It does everything advertised and more. The 8 minute workouts are just what I need when I'm running late in the morning. It gets my blood pumping and it's just enough to work up a sweat!

My husband and I are both getting more aggressive in our workouts. Now that we are in our 50's, we need more effort to keep out weight in check and maintain muscle mass. The Total Gym is easy to use and does not take up much space.
