Love total gym have older model am 63 years old use it everyday you can do almost every exersise rollers are just starting to wear out. hope price comes down so i can buy new model

Full Home Gym - This takes the prize!

I am a corporate executive in a large health care corporation and have never given a review for anything. I have a custom built home gym with more than 56k USD in equipment and construction invested before looking into the Total Gym. I am of the old school that Cardio and heavy free weights are the key to achieving your personal health goals. One year ago I was 5' 8" and weighed over 230 lbs. (a lot of dust on that expensive equipment). My stats were to the point of being put on hi-blood pressure medication along with medication for lowering my cholesterol. I asked my Dr. to give me a chance to come back before medication. Reluctantly she agreed. I ordered the total gym in February 2011 initially to be used at our lake house as it is very compact and would fit in a smaller home with kids, visitors, family etc. This would allow me to continue exercising while away from our primary residence. My wife and I loved it so much that we could not part with it at our main home and I just ended up purchasing temporary passes to local gyms at the lake. Anyhow, I recently turned 40 yrs. old and have dropped 73 lbs. and my blood work came in where my doctor actually called me to congratulate me on the progress. Needless to say the results were better than I or anyone for that matter could have hoped for. TG is great and FUN (which is the key for me) and actually does what it says….. Imagine that. I have had to reach out to the customer service department 2 times and always was treated better than most if not all companies I have worked with (just FYI – these were not complaint calls but more informational). TG alone will not make you reach your goals, however if you can incorporate TG, good diet and most importantly the will to be consistent, I can assure you great results. TG just makes it complete and fun without going broke. All the best and many thanks to Total Gym!

I play semi pro football. I weigh 280 pounds and needed a sturdy machine to work out at home and rehab after my knee injury. I am glad I chose the XLS. I bench press 400 pounds and leg press 1100 pounds when healthy. The machine is smooth comftorable,sturdy and the execrises challenging.

I like the fact that I can work out in the privacy of my own home and still feel like I am at the Gym.It is very easy to set up but heavy for one person to lift and try and store under a bed.I am so glad I saw the commercial on TV and invested in the Total Gym. Thank you Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley for endorsing such a quality piece of eqipment.
