Total Gym XLS is the best exercise equipment I have ever used. I never even hesitated to purchase a Total Gym twice!! No need to waste money for gym fees when you can own your own TG!! My son uses my first one I purchased as his physical therapy for a torn rotator cuff. He came over to check it out, and within a couple of months he somehow borrowed it and never brought it back!!! He does his TG workouts on a regular basis. I couldn't just take away his only form of treatment for his back pain, so I decided to purchase another one for myself...exactly one year later!!! Take it straight out of the box and set it up for use. If I can do it anyone can! I enjoy my workouts and don't even pay attention to the time. Has smooth and easy movement, easy to use attachments and workouts. Everyone should own one. They just don't know how much of a good thing they are missing out on!!

Total Gym was a gift for my fiance'; we live together. He has a stressfull job. It helps him so much to be able to come home and do his thing on the total gym. He is able to release so much tension when he gets home from work;just by working out on his total gym. We've only had our total gym for 1 month. All I can say is WOW!!!! My fiance's large stomach has gone down, also his sleep apena has improved greatly. His snoring was terribly loud, now its decreased greatly. He sleeps better and so do I!!!! The total gym is much more than a piece of gym equipment. It has huge health benefits. I see them in my fiance. He works out 4~6 days a week. He's very serious about his workouts. I had total knee replace 5yrs ago. Now, I can continue to rehab both of my knees on the total gym; in the comfort of my own home. I gain benefits of strengthing my body muscles and joints. I suffer from acute chronic rhuematoid arthritis. My workouts are less strenuous but effective with the total gym. THE TOTAL GYM IN OUR HOME IS A HIGH FIVE!!!! THE JOHNSON~PAYNES.

I watched info-mercials on the Total Gym for months. I was uncertain and a bit nervous as this is not a $50 set of dumbells. I finally decided to try it...afterall, if I wasn't happy, I could return it. I kicked myself for not purchasing one sooner. it was so easy to set up...my husband and I were trying it 10 minutes after we unpacked it. I use it for strength training and overall toning; my husband uses it to focus on specific muscle groups, like obliques, shoulders, and back. Adjusting the resistance is easy. We leave it set up all the time so I can't speak on the ease of storing it. Moving from exercise to exercise is very easy, and an added bonus for some cardio work. I can get a complete workout in 20 minutes, and don't have to leave home. thanks, Total Gym!!

This machine is definately worth the money,at first I was a little skeptical,but it really does work.I feel the workout in areas I never felt before.This machine in my opinion works out your whole body,but I think it really really targets your chest and arms.Overall I'm very impressed.

We purchased the Total Gym because we just couldn't (wouldn't) make the time to go down to the gym. So, mission accomplished. Having the gym in your home definitely makes it easier to get those almost daily workouts. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well made it is for a home gym. The bad side to that, for this woman anyway, is that it is a bit cumbersome/heavy to move around too much. Not impossible, but a challenge (especially up steps). I suspect that as it helps me get stronger -- I'll hardly even notice. I am definitely better at disciplining myself to work out regularly ~ and that is half the battle. The workout DVDs provided are very helpful in learning the exercises ~ and I find the workouts enjoyable.
