I am 65 and my wife is 69. What I like about total gym is I can be as high density or as low density as I want. I cannot do squats anymore but the leg presses on total gym allow me to get the exercise I need without hurting myself. Both my wife and I just love your product.

Great Machine, great workout

I bought this machine because I wanted so Ething I could use in my living room. It opens up easily and folds up just as easy. The workout are low impact which I Iike. I use it to stretch my torn ankle ligaments. My favorite is the ab attachment. It's easy and you can really feel the abs working. Because I'm a water skier, this machine was made for my kind of workout with all the pulling action. Absolutely love this machine and I own a bunch if different types.

Great for getting me in better shape.I had an operation 2 months ago and the Total Gym has helped me get my strength back quicker than I expected.I have never been overweight, (maybe 5-10 lbs.),but can see with daily use I will be in better condition than I have been for the last 20 years. Also tore a rotor cuff approximately 9 months ago. I'm positive the Total Gym has helped heal it more in 6 wks. than the first 8 months without it. Almost back to normal.Great machine, but like I said above, expensive for those of us on a fixed income.

We have a tiny house. I go to the gym a lot, but also like to workout at home, while watching TV in the evenings. The Total Gym lives in our tiny living room, and I use it ~5 times a week in Winter and maybe 2-3 times a week in Summer, when I have other, outdoor options. I am well acquainted with physiology and exercise, and so can say with confidence that the Total Gym is the most versatile, easiest, best value piece of home exercise equipment ever invented. It costs the same as about 1 year's membership of a good gym, and I almost guarantee you will use it more and longer than a membership. I am 47yo female, tall and fitter than most my age. I don't need to exercise in a group to keep me motivated. I just need tools to be there when Stephen Colbert broadcasts his show. The Total Gym spends most of its time setup in front of our tiny couch, inviting me to use it. Sometimes we fold it up and put it away, but maybe only once in two weeks. In addition to a Total Gym, I have some swiss balls, bosu, dumbells, a body-blade and a bike. We have more exercise equipment in our tiny house than furniture. I also have a wife who teaches yoga. I go to a gym to use an arc trainer and rowing machine for cardio when my poor knees can't handle the bike any more. With that, I can work out almost every muscle. I sit on my tush all day, in front of a computer and ache to be active in the evenings. If you are like me and have a tiny space, but a need for activity toys, then the Total Gym is for you. You will be discovering the variety of its uses for years. Stop looking around and buy it. Carol G

Our entire family uses the Total Gym for different reasons. It is so easy to change from one intensity level to another and so easy to change from one exercise routine to another. I can't say enough good things about it!
