I love the Total Gym XLS! I wasn't sure it was going to work as well as the ad said, but it does!

Nice piece of equipment. This one won't have clothes hung from it or be sold in a yard sale. You were right Chuck it took me awhile to believe you!

Glad you asked. I love this machine, I wanted to do weight training without going out to do it and this is perfect for me. The only problem I have is this.....I am a little over weight and short so it has been a hoot getting into and out of the machine...BUT that is ok..I am getting better. The problem was the ankle attachments. In the one video they have the top ring behind the ankle... and they go the 3 exercises...this really rubbed my leg....quickly watched the Pllates and saw she had hers on the top..makes more sense so now I have the ring on top for the leg lift and side then move it so the ring is in the back for the hamsting exercise. I do one day the full routine and the next just the legs.
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Set Up, Comfortable, Strengthens, Great for Slow Resistant, Easy To Use, Sturdy, Easy Storage

i use it pretty much every day when im home. its helped me substitute going to the gym and helped me save at least an hour a day by working out at home. my time is very limited so this is huge in being able to get out of bed and work out first thing in the morning. my son who is 14 is just starting to get into weights as well and he really enjoys using the xls also. father and son being able to work out together for the first time was and is pretty cool. i also like the fact that there is a kids program for my 8 year old daughter who always asks "can i do the kids program again". No plans on returning it. it is a good fit for our family. just need to get my wife embracing it like the rest of us have.

I love my gym...it is very easy to use. I have it right in my livingroom and when folded up you dont even realize it is there....but it is in reach and ready to use. I am huge gym junkie and I feel like I am getting a great workout right in my own home. The only downfall I feel is ...I am tall and I feel that sometimes it does not fit me during some exercises.

I use the Total Gym at my convenience. I don't have to go to the gym and I don't have to continue paying monthly membership fees. All it takes is a little discipline to get into and stay in great shape with the Total Gym.
