Perfect For the Busy Homemaker

I despise working out. I think spending time in a gym takes precious moments where I can be doing something else. The Total Gym has changed my mind. The 6-8 minute workout is effective. It's pleasant. The DVD host is motivating without being cloying. And just when I feel like I can't do anything more, it's over. The workout is done. I put the machine away and go on with my normal routine feeling renewed and refreshed. This machine is amazing and I'm so glad I bought it.

Use the product at least 5 times a week, for about 25 minutes each time. Not sure about this helping in weight loss, but I like it for fitness and gaining strength.
Pros: Easy Storage, Comfortable, Easy To Use, Strengthens, Easy To Set Up, Quiet
Cons: Bulky

I find the Total Gym to be a fun way to exercise. The rest of my family likes it for the ab crunch attachment.

I have several exercise machines that I use regularly, but I love my Total Gym for strength training. It is so smooth and quiet yet makes me use all of my muscles. When I am done I definately feel the burn. I can't believe I took so long to order one, but glad I did.

I bought this for my husband to use. He keep seeing the ads on T.V. Thought I would try it out once it was all setup and ready to go. This is a great low impact, but High Cardio exercise machine. I love the work out cards that came with it. I have two small children and this allows me to get a quick workout in and get back to being mom. Would recommend to all mothers.

More bang for your buck

Overall, the Total Gym is great. My only issue is when you go to set it up, you must be careful where you do this. Being that it does not have a smooth surface or rollers on the ends, it makes it difficult to move and open. It will scratch wood or other natural flooring. You have to pick it up to avoid scratching the floor and it's quiet heavy to lift.

Cons: Bulky
