A Fantastic addition to my gym

Working out became a part of my life over 30 years ago. I started with free weights and eventually added a universal gym. Always though that many of the other products were just gimmicks. A year ago a friend of mine was moving and I stored her Total Gym for her for a few months. Started working with it and found it was a great compliment to my regular routines. It is very well manufactured and easy to use. They have many great routines already laid out for you that are very well thought out. I find that it's not only working many muscles in a different way from my weights and universal, but it also helps with stretching my muscles better than anything I've tried on my own. It also seems to do be doing a nice job of giving me better definition within a short period of time. This is definitely a well thought out piece of equipment and I am glad I finally was able to purchase one of my own.... since I really missed the one I was "storing" once it went back to the owner.
Pros: Quiet, Sturdy, Strengthens, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Comfortable

This product works great for me. I alternate upper and lower body workouts 5-6 days a weeks. I superset two to three exercises and rest no more than than forty five seconds between sets to get some cardio along with a good strength workout.

Cons: Bigger squat stand

Military training for PT Test

I've used the TG XLS for a year. I'm a soldier and my wife bought it as a gift due to my hatred of the gym scene. I'm in my comfort zone and love the feeling after a one hour workout.

I recently purchased my Total Gym XLS due to an injury..I was forced to stop using my Bowflex Dumbbells, which I have been using for years..now after using the Total Gym I can not imagine using anything else...great workout...thank you Total Gym you put a smile back on my face...

great machine for seniors

I have just recently had a hip replacement and also a knee replacement and the Total Gym has done wonders for me. Despite being less mobile during the recovery I was still able to use the Total gym for many exercises to strengthen muscles around the replaced joints. I would recommend this to seniors since it is light and easy to use and has loads of benefits.
