What an AWESOME product!!!

When I was asked to describe myself I selected "rarely workout" because none of the other ones best described me. But that was before I purchased the total gym. Now I work out 5-6 days a week for 20 minutes a day. It makes you feel so good and have so much more energy. At this point in my life I am considered morbidly obese. It isn't that I haven't ever tried to lose weight before, because I have. Workout videos, weights, balls, etc. I don't know if I just wasn't doing it correctly or what not, but I would only lose a pound or maybe two. After four weeks of no real progress I would always give up. After four weeks of working out with the total gym, I am proud to say I have lost 8 pounds. It is so easy to use and so much fun. You can feel the burn in your muscles, but it's a good feeling. Depending on what level you have the board positioned, you can do longer work outs that are very low impact or raise it and really push yourself. This is a machine that will last a very long time in my house. This exercise machine is like 5 different machines all wrapped in to one. It's the absolute best! Because of the ease of the machine and the progress in my weightloss, it has motivated me to continue working out. After four weeks I usually give up at this point, but I can honestly say I can't wait to see how much weight I lose next month. I was 290lbs when I started and now I'm 282lbs.

I use the Total Gym System about every other day and it works great. It doesn't take long at all to get my heart racing and my muscles going. The only downside is that I have noticed that the roller system has started to shave off slivers and leave rubber filings.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Sturdy, Quiet, Comfortable, Easy To Use, Strengthens
Cons: Bulky

I had never heard of this product until a few months ago & saw a portion of an infomercial. It intrigued me, so I looked it up online, and I was impressed by what I saw, but still skeptical about the quality. So I did some more research online trying to find complete home gym products, and pricing them on different sites. Still I kept coming back to the Total Gym website, and finally ordered one thinking I can always ship it back if it's a piece of junk! It's not! I love it! I need to lose weight and I am not a fitness guru, but this is easy to use, works out all muscle groups and it's very sturdy! I am very impressed with the design --- with that all being said --- it's something I will stick with!!

Use total Gym to keep in shape at the age of 64 helps cardiac rate. Only thing that I find can be inproved is that some type of wheels should be put on the frame so that it is easier to put away for storage when not in use. My wife also uses the total gym for weight lose and keeping in shape. I had major surgery in June and find the Total Gym great for rehab of my stomach muscles

Cons: Needs Wheels
