Love the Total Gym... I have a torn rotator cuff and the Total Gym has absolutely changed my range of motion and pain level in my shoulder. I was thinking about surgery because of my pain level and was tired of getting shots in my shoulder. I decided to try one last option before surgery and the Total Gym was it. I can't beleve how much better I feel. Free weights DO NOT work on a torn rotator cuff (I tried)and still felt awful. The Total Gym WORKED!!! I am a completely changed person now that I have strength again in my arm. I move and sleep so much better now.. I absolutely recommend the Total Gym XLS

its great to do a few minutes several times a day I *was* over 300lbs before I bought my total gym. I have more energy. The DVD's are a big help, they show how to position your body correctly

I bought the total gym for my wife because she had trouble getting to the gym. I'm a free weight guy and run alot. I am 53 years old my wife is 49. I didn't make it to the gym one night and did tricep, back and abs. 3 exercises each alternating. 9 exer. total and 3 sets per circuit. Very good workout. I have a masters in Ex. Phys. And I think it's great. You have to really work to get the cardio. My wife loves it.

The Total Gym provides the very best, no impact workout for anyone. I used the Bowflex and can tell you that I see much more improvement with the Total Gym. The Total Gym is my workout from now on..

The FIRST thing to do when you get your Total Gym is to watch the video. That makes it so easy to set up.The video also gives you different workouts that you can use. I think the more we use it we can streamline our workouts so we don't have to stop and change things for different exercises. My wife, youngest Son,and I are all using it and so far we are sticking to it. After only 3 weeks I can tell a difference in my waist! Several years ago I injured my knee and guess what I used in rehab? Yep, the Total Gym. I was told to continue my workout and join a gym, well that didn't work because I didn't have the time. Now I'm back on the Total Gym and my knee is getting stronger.

I got tired of getting up early to go to the gym. Now I get up and step into the den and work out on the Total Gym. I get a great work out in less time and it works as good as the ads say. It is well made, quiet and easy change the assessories. A good value, it will pay for it self in few months of dues at the local club.

Pilates on this thing is amazing. And switching from biceps to chest to triceps and then to squats is even better. I really didn't believe it, until I used it. Pure genius.

This is exactly what my wife and I have needed. We don't like gyms or their costs, rather invest those monies in assets rather than liabilities. Easier to use in our home, is easily moved.
