I'm a tall guy and the first time that i laid down on the slide board i noticed that it actually fits my size. Then I started doing a few exercises, which i thought was going to be easy but this thing actually kicked my butt and is the type of challenging workout i have always wanted. Thank you total gym for working good.

I love the fact that I get a workout as good as I could get at a gym without leaving my home and when I am finished, it folds easily and can be moved out of the way!

I like it because it is easy on the body, does not stress your joints and reminds me of my pilates class. I think it is ideal for people over 40 or those who have illnesses or tender/weak areas of the body. You can choose to make it easier or harder, but it is a smooth operating machine.

I've had mine for just over a week so this review is still preliminary. But the Total Gym XLS is a remarkable machine. The design is absolutely brilliant. I've used two other home gyms and their biggest problem was the large size and time it took to reset the machine for the next exercise. The Total Gym eliminates both problems. You move the exercise to exercise very quickly with little time wasted. That is a huge motivating factor for me since it saves time and allows you to keep your heart rate up if you desire to do so. It is comfortable and the huge amount of exercises one can do on it is terrific. First class design.

Easy and fun to use

I have back problems so I ordered the abdominal crunch attachment hoping to strengthen my abdominal muscles as well as my upper arms and lower body. I'm happy to report my c-section roll is diminishing and my back isn't hurting nearly as much after using it daily for just under two weeks. The variety of exercises prevents boredom. I highly recommend this machine.

It truly is an "all in one" Gym

Gym is great, I use it for the Pilates'. I am older so moving it around on carpet for storage is hard for me. So I leave it out. Hardwood floors would make it easier to move.

Honestly, the Total Gym is the first thing that I use in the morning after brushing my teeth. I am yrs old and it was easy too carry the Total Gym upstairs too my workout room. Since using the Total Gym, I have notice the firmness in my arms and around my stomach, and several friends have asked me if I have lost weight and that I look great for being 65 years old.
