Full Body Makeover with just 1 machine !

I love my Total Gym XLS it works all areas of the body not only for me but for all the members of my household. It has so many different exercises to choose from and the index cards and the exercise chart help us to better know and focus on a certain area. I no longer have to waste gas driving to the gym and throw money away on monthly fees. I now exercise in the privacy of my own home and dont have to leave my children while I exercise. We use the Total Gym as a family. My teenage son and my 7 year old son use it to build muscles and keep in shape for football. My daughters who will soon be teenagers have also started to use it just to tone and keep fit. I on the other hand use it for severe workout and have seen great results. I am so happy with my Total Gym and can say its the greatest gift my husband has ever given me and that I actually put to use daily. With only 1 machine I get a full bodys workout. Its also easy to store away and does not take up much space at all. I actually enjoy working out and dont put it off for later. I am one Happy Women and you know if Mom's happy then everyones happy !

Right now, my biggest problem is getting on and off the gym. I am very out of shape. THe machine itself is fine but it is scary trying to get up from lower level. It may be that I am not yet ready for this level of equipment. But I am going to do my best and soon try and use it more. I think it will work well for rest of life needs once I get past the start up stage.

My grandsons are using it now to get abs, and get stronger. I am going through knee surgery in 3 weeks and will use it to lose weight, and get back in shape, also help with theorpy after my surgery.

My wife and I use the Total Gym as an alternate workout equipment from our treadmill. It's great equipment for strength training and muscle building. The down side - it's bulky and quite heavy for my wife so I have to set it up everytime she needs it.
Pros: Strengthens, Sturdy
Cons: Bulky
