I use the Total Gym 3 or 4 times per week. Good easy workout. Convenient. Can drag from closet to living area and set up quickly
Pros: Comfortable, Easy Storage, Strengthens, Easy To Use
Cons: Noisy Operation

Perfect For Shoulder Strength!

I wished it set up a bit easier, but I am so pleased with how well this gym has strengthened my shoulders and back muscles I can overlook the difficult assembly. I need strong shoulders & back muscles as I am an Ultrasound Technologist, and the majority of my stress in in my upper body.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Quiet Operation, Easy Storage, Sturdy, Strengthens
Cons: Hard To Set Up

Easy to Use and It Works!

When I first started I found it difficult to do one rep. Two weeks later I improved to 3 reps and moved the bar up a notch. I try to use it every day and I am looking forward to my results in a year. Great product!

Love my Total Gym

I bought the Total Gym XLS about two months ago. I'm over 50 and about 100 lbs overweight. I was so discouraged with my general health and fitness level. It took me a little while to become comfortable with the different exercises, but now that I'm used to it, I am really enjoying my morning workout. I love the 6-8 minute workout, because I can find that much time to workout in the mornings. I've found that I need to workout at my own pace, so I pause the workout until I'm finished with that section and then move on to the next exercise. And because each day has different exercises, it doesn't get boring. The Total Gym is sturdy and it's easy to switch out the accessories. Thank you, Total Gym, for the increased energy and the renewed committment to health and fitness!!!!!

I use the Total Gym along with Free weights to keep in shape and build muscle. I've owned a few total gyms before, opting for the XLS this time, it's well worth the cost, everything is built to a much higher standard. And the glide board is much bigger. The upgraded squat stand is also great. Don't be fooled into thinking it's not durable. This model is nothing like the ones you see in stores. Much sturdier build. The cables also come off the glide board much easier. Everything is very well made. Comfortable, fast work out. It cuts my time back. Glad I got it, sold my Bowflex revolution after I got it. More versatile and very easy to move around. The Bowflex Revolution had to be taken apart to move rooms. Back to the Total gym was a win for my workouts.

This is an AWESOME product! I no longer need to go to the gym! I have lost inches! SIX MINUTES! Anyone can do that!!! My husband loves that he is a little more 'cut'! :) This has been a GREAT purchase for me and him! We also drive eachother to slip in a workout. We keep eachother accountable! :) I have had two back surgeries. So, I MUST maintain a workout. My husband had been wanting to join the gym with me. However he did not have the time to do it. THIS IS PERFECT!!!!

Takes some getting used to as far as putting it up and down and changing out the equipment parts during the workout. If you're a typical person, trying to jumpstart a fitness program and get into/back into shape, this is a great piece of equipment. Also great for stretching.
